We loved this location! It was perfect and so close to everything. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They had the option of purchasing water bottles in the lobby, which we definitely utilized and it was very convenient.

This is such a great location and a beautiful charming room. We loved our stay at Locanda Orchidea. The piazza at the end of the block is so lively and fun. Loved this location. We will stay there again when we get back to Florence.

Big rooms right in the city center of Florence! Bathroom was on the old side but everything works properly. Great to have air conditioning given the summer warmth.

Everything is very average but good to go at nights for sleep. Clean and air conditioned. It is just a room , not even a usable lobby . Please bear in mind that you should pay city tax and breakfast fee on top of what you are paying here at Expedia or any platform that you are renting the property from.

Quiet, clean & good location. Staff was very helpful and kind. We loved the breakfast with the beautiful view. Very helpful to store our luggage after check-out until our train departed. Lots of space in the room with a divided sitting area. Loved everything about it!

This is an older building. It appears that Locanda Orchidea shares this building with others. There is a sign on the front of the building. On the first day, the owner met me at the door to make sure I knew where to go and to show me how to use the lift. If you have mobility issues, please note there are a few stairs that must be taken before you reach the lift. This is also unique in that there are a few locks that must be opened before you can get to your room. Front door, lift (if you need it) Door to Locanda Orchideas rooms and finally your room. I got used to this. My room was a single room. I was able to control the air conditioning. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large. I didn't have breakfast here. I believe the cost is 7 Euros and you must reserve a spot. The location is good. I would come here again.

Pleasant stay, very convenient location with plenty of good eateries and bars nearby. Clean and comfortable bed, could do with firmer pillows, nice seating area in the room. Nice clean bathroom, typically Italian breakfast for 7 euro. Would stay again for the location.

The property is nice. Close to attractions and eateries/cafes. Good breakfast for 7 euro. Our room faced the street (really more of an alley) and unfortunately the property is between two bars that had a lot of US college students partying late into the evening that we could hear through closed windows. Next time I’d request a room that doesn’t face the street.
