Convenient location. Large room. Clean. Quiet. Dangerous shower because of the step over. I'd stay there again. A bit expensive for the quality.

Really great location. Step out the door and you are in the historic center area. Staff on site is a plus. There is an elevator for folks who need it. Room is really small. We did not like the decor and the furniture in our room. TV works.

Close to the train station and plenty of shopping and restaurant areas. Could use a bit of an update, but it was clean inside. Bathroom in our room was very tight. Water pressure was very low at times, but we were never without hot water. Decent place to stay on a budget.

Overall, I had a great stay here. The location is perfect and close to everything worth visiting in Florence. My only small problem with this was that I had to check in after hours due to a late flight, and it was difficult to reach them ahead of time. I am from the US so I couldn’t make an international call, I would recommend using WhatsApp to contact the mobile phone number on their website, that was the best way for me to communicate with them. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and the room was clean!

The receptionist was super nice and helped us to sort out everything. The location of this hotel is no doubt very convenient, very centric, and also very close to the train station and Mercato Centrale. The room itself including the decoration and equip can be better.

Awesome Hotel and centrally located.

The room was awesome. Large with a small balcony. 2 extra chairs and table, mini fridge, and small desk. The water pressure and water temperature were not the great. It took a long time for the hot water to come through. The staff was excellent. The room was quiet even though we were on a busy street. I had 3 keys and a Fob to manage my access. I would change that and add electronic apps to the doors to eliminate having to keep up with keys. There is a small elevator but there are two small steps you need to go up to get to the elevator. I definitely would stay here again. It’s located in a central part of Florence just a block from the Market and super close to the train station.

La Residenza di Michelangelo è un b&b con camere accoglienti e ben arredate; è in posizione molto comodo sia rispetto alla stazione sia rispetto al centro città. Un po' rumorosa la camera con finestre su via Nazionale. Accoglienza buona, ma la reception chiude alle 18. Nota negativa la mancanza di riordino e pulizia della camera per i 3 giorni di soggiorno, seppure prevista.

Perfect small spotted room !

The room isn’t very spacious so for our family with a crib, that wasn’t the perfect setup for a room. The room is perfect for couple and It is very well located. The breakfast included it just perfect, at the restaurant La cocotte !
