Stop in Florence

We did three days in Florence and stayed in this apartment. It had good amenities however no AC which was my fault because I thought it would be cooler. Once it cooled off everything was perfect. Great location to Public transportation and shops. Short walks to the sites.

We picked this apartment because we wanted to be off the beaten path in a local neighborhood. When we arrived, Pascal gave us a cursory "tour" of the apartment. I asked him about getting around and somewhere close by to eat. He had no suggestions other than that I should download the citymapper app, and then left. As soon as you walk into the apartment, you can see that it's in need of a lot of TLC. Imagine moving into an apartment immediately after the previous tenant vacates... that's what it seems like. The walls are dirty and marked up and there are stains all over the furniture. The bed linens are old, dingy, and stained. The drain in the shower was clogged. There are no screens in the windows so it is impossible to get fresh air without letting the mosquitoes in. The only overhead lighting in the main area and bedrooms comes from overhead fans/light units so the rooms are dimly lit. Lights in the hallway and main bedroom are hanging from their sockets.The photos online are not representative of the current state of the apartment. Even the terrace was disorganized and uninviting with dead plants in broken pots, a dirty plastic table, chairs and umbrella, and a rusty BBQ filled with rain water. This was obviously someone’s home once, but you can tell no one “loves” it now. Too bad there isn't a way to upload photos. Would not rent from this company again. Better to rent from an owner, who has a vested interest in their property.

Our first trip to Florence

This apartment was everything we thought it would be. The location was great and the property was comfortable. Our only complaint was the communication problems we had after we booked. It took three months to find out more about our lodging, even though I emailed numerous times. I’m the end, everything worked out.

Nice place to visit Florence

The apartment is well located, outside the busy center, but 30' walk from the Duomo (even with youg kids). The environment is perfect : all shops are available in the surroundings. The apartment is very quiet, although located inside a building. You can enjey the "terrasse" in the morning and evening after a long day inside the city !
