Luciano and his wife were amazing. They were very kind. The room was very clean and well kept. The location is perfect, less than a 5 minute walk from the train station, and very close to all other sights. I would love to stay there again.

Great little hotel find near SMN train station

Old bldg near the Santa Maria novella train station. Very walkable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms inside the old bldg were nice and updated. Bathroom was large , shower water pressure was great. The hotel has tea and biscuits and a bottle of wine as well as a refrigerator. I would definitely stay there again anytime I visit Florence.

This hotel is very old and nothing appears to be updated except for the bathroom and the elevator. We had to carry a ring of keys that included a fob and a skeleton key in order to access our room. The location of the hotel appears to be somewhat sketchy. As a positive note, the air conditioning was great after a hot day and the manager on duty was always available to tend to our needs.

Excellent stay. Lucio is really nice and helpful. The room is large, quiet and clean. The guest house is 5 min from the tram to the airport, from the train station in a neighbourhood with restaurant and bars.

The best hotel I stayed at in Italy and I stayed in 6. Super nice and friendly owner. And was very helpful. Hotel in an old historic building but it had all the things you need. Clean, hot water, great WiFi, good AC and great staff. Very close to train station. I would highly recommend this place.

This was one of our favourite hotels on our recent trip to Italy. We stayed late April, 2026. Our room was on the first floor (not ground floor). It faced the back and was very quiet, which we appreciated It was decorated nicely with period pieces, high ceiling, and had a comfortable bed. The room had a mini fridge, air conditioning, and the best part, free coffee and tea, and snacks! Which they replenished everyday. The bathroom was large and had a shower and claw foot tub! Even the hallway outside our room was decorated nicely. The ground floor, near the outside entrance looks a bit rough once you are inside, but don't let that part upset you. It's not a typical hotel entrance, it's just part of a historic old house, that's not restored. There was an interior gate, which made it feel secure as well. The elevator was super slow, but that was not important. We used the stairs mainly. You won't be disappointed staying here. The staff were friendly and helpful with our questions.

i might just not get the florance area

old building they are trying to renovate and keep historic at the same time. the good: 5 min walk to the train station. close to the square . nice check in guy helped carry our bags up the stairs. bathroom renovated but has a badly stained ceiling. bed really comfortable. the odd: you go through a gate a 2 locked doors to get to your room that uses a skeleton key. dosent seem to be the best neighborhood. our room looks over a small court yard used locals that were drunk yelling at each other 2:30am on a Wednesday. breakfast is pre wraped croissants and muffins in your room. I will not pay €140 A Night to stay here again probably a fair price around €80.

Unsere schlechteste Unterkunft, die wir bisher auf allen Reisen hatten. In dem Gebäude sind scheinbar 3 verschiedene Unterkünfte auf verschiedenen Ebenen. Um überhaupt zum Zimmer zu kommen, benötigt man diverse pin codes. In den Fahrstuhl passt eine Person und dabei hat man Bedenken, dass man stecken bleibt. Das Hotel und auch die Zimmer weichen enorm von den Bildern und Beschreibungen ab. Das scheint, als wäre hier die KI im Spiel gewesen. Das Zimmer war dreckig, die Lüftung staubig, alles runtergekommen und das für über 170€ die Nacht? Auf gar keinen Fall. Auf die Frage, ob ein anders Zimmer frei wäre, kam die Antwort „Nein“. Wir sahen uns nicht im Stande dort zu schlafen. Verständnis gab es von dem Manager nicht, weil das Zimmer doch da wäre und alles wie beschrieben - die Bilder sagen was anderes. Also wir können die Unterkunft absolut niemandem empfehlen.
