"The wonderful history and unique creation story make this one of the best hotel stays my wife and I have ever enjoyed. The entire staff is excellent in every way and the entire hotel seems to run by the concierge desk. For an marvelous stay in Amsterdam consider The Pulitzer."

"We had a Canal view room, which I would highly recommend our room was spacious not too very limited space to hang or shelves to put your things on We had trouble with our door lock, but turns out that they punched in the wrong room number. Every time they had to resend a key up to our room. The staff was very accommodating. We had questioned why we heard hammering at 7 AM and the manager was a little bit. That’s the way it is. We did not partake in the breakfast as there is great food very close by the neighborhood was the best."

"Perfect location"

"We loved everything about this hotel with two exceptions: 1- if you are a light sleeper, the street noise makes it really hard to sleep well. (If you are a heavy sleeper, no problem at all.) 2- the wifi was super slow. Otherwise, great place to stay. Close to everything. Easy access to the trams. Perfect!"

"Location is perfect. Staff excellent. Breakfast was OK. Bath tub too tall, hard to use for older people. Hotel is outdated, not sound proof."

"Wi fi weak, bartender at Vic’s was dismissive, took twenty minutes to make a drink, and if you could catch his eye it would take at least twenty more minutes for an order! The bartender needs help. Also expecting a tip after all of this is insulting. If it where me, I would eliminate the bar stools because he was so busy talking to the guest at the bar, and ignoring the seated guest."
