We love our Octagonal home and are sure you will too. Inside, you will find a cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to whip up a delicious meal. Each bedroom is uniquely decorated and offers a comfortable sleep for up to 8 guests. Our home is perfect for a family vacation, girls' weekend or a getaway with friends.



The Space:

After a day of adventures, come back and unwind on the porch swing, roast marshmallows over the firepit, or relax in the hammock while listening to the sounds of nature. Our home is the perfect blend of convenience and seclusion, making it the ideal vacation spot. Book your stay at 8Days a Week and experience a one-of-a-kind escape.



Guest Access:

Entire house for your use. We keep the garage to ourselves for storage.



The Neighborhood:

Located just 5 minutes from the charming town of Floyd, you'll have easy access to local shops, restaurants, and attractions. Take a stroll through the Friday Night Jamboree or explore the many hiking trails in the surrounding area. Within 20 minutes, you can also venture to Christiansburg for more options for dining and shopping. And for the sports enthusiasts, the college town of Blacksburg, home of the Virginia Tech Hokies, is just a short 30-minute drive away.



Other Things to Note:

Just a few reminders:

1 - NO Pets allowed due to allergies. We have other properties to consider.

2 - Absolutely NO Smoking of any kind.

3 - Please do not move furniture

4 - Keep it clean. When you leave it should look the same as you entered, with the exception of bed linens and towels

5 - Remember it's our home, so treat it with respect

6 - Each mini-split unit can be temperature adjusted individually. BUT they must all be on heat or AC. If one is different, the remotes will not make the changes.

7 - If you plan to use the firepit, you'll need to bring your own wood and don't forget the marshmallows.

8 - Please put trash in the outside can or if you're staying a little longer, there are green boxes in and around Floyd that you can toss it.
