The host Nadia couldn’t have been more considerate and accommodating (even bringing me the most beautiful bunch of flowers for my birthday), and the house is absolutely extraordinary. Everything is done to an exceptional standard, and nothing is overlooked. The team who managed the place were friendly and warm and took such great care, including small personal touches from their farm goods etc. Each room is beautiful, serene and elegant, and Nadia……

“No complaints from my family and I. The house is beautiful and has a great town view from the mountain. I really enjoyed driving the roads leading up to the home. A true Italian adventure. We also enjoyed making paste with Bararabra and her mother. We enjoyed listening to music and making the meal of a 4 hour period. We intend to return”

“We spent a wonderful week at Domus Clara! The communication with Luisa was very easy and she always responded right away. The house is lovely with everything you would need for your stay. It is centrally located so easy to visit various towns and villages in Umbria each day. The layout of the house was great for our family of 3 with our daughter having her own en suite room. But it is really the outside spaces that make this home awesome! It was very hot during our visit and the pool was great……

“Having just returned from two weeks in this beautiful property we can highly recommend it! The Villa is very authentic (steep stone stairs) but done up with such taste and design. The bedrooms all have en-suites and air conditioning (we were there during a heatwave so this was very welcome). The bedroom downstairs with two single beds is the only room with a smart TV so has Netflix/Disney etc...the lounge does not have a TV but this didn't bother us at all. Outside there are many different areas……

“We loved our stay at villa Elisa! The location was great. Easy access to other hill towns in the area, and a block from restaurants and coffee shops. The pool and hot tub were beautiful and such a huge plus after a long day of touring or hiking to colipino. We loved Spello— great restaurants and hidden alleys to explore. We hope to return!”

“Beautiful villa secluded from the closest town so that it felt private but close enough to the beautiful villages of Umbria. We were a group of 14 and it felt spacious. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain but we cosied up in the fireplace and still had dinner outside under the covered outside eating area. You could call up the related resort on the landline at anytime if you were missing anything and they were very helpful. I also used the concierge service to have wine delivered to the villa and……

“Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in dem Haus am Hang verbracht und sind von den Vermietern liebevoll aufgenommen und umsorgt worden. Diese bewohnen die obere Etage, sind aber defacto "unsichtbar" und dennoch stets erreichbar, um behilflich zu sein, bsw. Restaurant-Reservierungen. Der vermietete Teil des Hauses - drei SZ, drei Bäder sowie reichlich weitere Räume, bietet Platz im Übermaß, den man aber eigentlich kaum nutzt, etwa den ca. 50 qm großen Speisesaal mit sechs Meter Tisch. “The house is absolutely amazing. Beautiful architecture, interesting furniture, loads of space for a family, it feels like a really unique place to stay and we really enjoyed being there. Even when it was autumnal and a little chilly, it was a lovely place to spend time. However, it is overall really neglected by the hosts. We had no idea how to check in as the information on the booking and from Vrbo was wrong. We were there at night in the pitch black after confirming our arrival time via Vrbo……

“We really had an amazing staying in Villa Pambuffetti Relais, in Bevagna. It is has a wonderful historical villa, completely restored with excellent taste for good design. It is surrounded by a beautiful lawn with fruit and olive trees and it has a new large infinity pool with solarium. Everything went perfect (better than expected). The Villa, the location and the owner made everything simply fantastic! Looking forward to come back with family & friends!”

“We had a fantastic time at Aethos Saragano. We stayed for a week in one of the village rooms. The room was clean and comfortable and well kitted out. The restaurant, Ceci, is fantastic - we ate there four nights, and could have happily had done more. The view from the restaurant and terrace is amazing - rolling Umbrian countryside as far as the eye can see. There are lots of fun things to do in the area - wine tasting, village breaks, trips to the lake - though you will need a car. The hotel……
