「Best stay.. would go back again 」

「Excellent short, one night stop here, arrived about 1800, check in was smooth and quick, staff helpful and friendly, only a short walk to the room. The room was massive clean and the bed very comfortable. It was Sunday night and there was a painter in the corridor decorating, but quiet and no bother. Room had all the expected; toiletries, towels, Wi-Fi, large tv and even a trouser press. We were up and out at 0600 the next morning to race in a local triathlon at Belvoir Castle, night porter...

「Very friendly staff throughout our stay. Large room, very comfortable and nice to have a large fan keeping us cool at night. Only issue was the lack of power sockets in this day and age when tech is king, but we managed. Ate at Milly's on the first evening and breakfast on both days, all very nice. Would recommend, especially as Burghley House Estate is literally at the back of the hotel and Stamford itself is a lovely town.」
