Idyllic Beach House

The house was perfect for 3 couples (could have done 4 couples) and was such a beautiful spot on Folly Beach. Close enough to walk to restaurants and shops downtown Folly Beach and a short drive in to Charleston. The beach was clean and not crowded. The only thing missing was a gas fire pit out in the porch to make those November mornings/night a little less chilly while enjoying the beautiful view. Would stay again!

Cool Place! Walk to Town! 100 Steps Cot to Beach!

Wonderful cool place ON THE BEACH! HUGE dining room table seats MANY, we had seven loose, and prob seats ten. Cool screened in porch, cool deck and walkway (pier) over the erosion dunes directly to the BEACH! Will stay here again if available!

Outdated and Dirty Rugs/Furniture

Pros: Very close to downtown, awesome boardwalk, plenty of space, open living areas, AMAZING panorama views, ample parking for multiple vehicles. Cons: Old, poorly styled, AC is limited at 72(hot while sleeping), closet doors aren’t functioning properly, furniture in the home is visibly dirty, deck on back of the house is very worn, listing is correct that there are no blankets, extra towels, laundry supplies, dish towels, and other basic necessities that most properties provide. No beach equipment, nor does the property provide any baby equipment. The lack of supplies is a huge negative. Also - there was no gift basket upon arrival as is customary in my experience with VRBO properties. Not even a bottle of water. Rugs in the home are hard, scratchy, and grimy (not good for crawling babies). The photos on the listing make this place appear much brighter, cleaner, and updated as compared to reality unfortunately! Overall - not a horrible experience but we definitely won’t be back. We will opt for a property a little more updated.

Wonderful location for a beach vacation

All of us enjoyed this house. Not only on the beach, it is in walking distance to the shops on Folly Beach. The kitchen had everything already there and it was open to the living room. The screen porch was a wonderful feature. We will definitely be back.

Thanksgiving Celebration Delight

For a house right on the beach, strange to write that the most exceptional quality of this property is the interior. The open floor plan with the gorgeous view made for a perfect gathering. I would highly recommend this house for people looking to reconnect and rekindle important relationships. The kitchen is made for collaboration. While those not involved in meal preparation aren't left out of the social fun. We've stayed on Folly Beach in rentals over a dozen times through the years. We try to rent a new place each visit. This was the nicest home of them all. The screened porch could use some attention. But everything else was excellent, well above the average beach house.
