“Our stay at Veranda Hotel Grand Baie was unfortunately not as enjoyable as we had hoped. Our apartment was located at the very back of the property, quite a long walk from the main facilities. Overall cleanliness could be improved, especially in the bathroom areas. The hotel is next to a very noisy street, and the windows are not soundproof enough, so you can hear almost every car, van, or lorry passing by, which makes it hard to relax. “Great place, quiet, food options was minimal. But there ate nearby restaurants. Food was really good but many ants during breakfast buffe and on the tables during lunch/dinner. We were confronted by the restaurant manager one morning and askes why we did not like the mauritian buffe the night before. Only one of us had the buffe and it was amazing.
