“Everything was great at this lovely property. The staff was exceptional--helpful and friendly. Our water taxi took us directly to the hotel and picked us up for our return to the airport. “First time in Venice, what an interesting place. Our room (Puparin) was so modern, renovated and felt peaceful. King size bed, a bit soft, but comfortable. Tall ceiling wt exposed wood beam. Skylight in the bathroom, which was big in size, same for shower and sick/toilet area! Shower had the rain option or telephone handle, great pressure & continuous hot water. “This just might be the perfect blend between Venice elegance and convenience. The Antico Portego is just down from the canals giving you a rare opportunity to enjoy Venice and not have to climb stairs with your luggage.
While getting there is easy, the area around our hotel was great too. Fun shopping, spots to enjoy a glass of wine, and food options are all right outside the door.
Lastly, our room was elegant. There was far more space than the typical room and it was updated and quiet.
