“Spacious suite had fairly private terrace with City Market view. Afternoon wine and cheese had very creative appetizers. Beautiful outdoor terrace with fountain for dining or to enjoy anytime. Copious buffet breakfast with extended hours. Would definitely stay here upon returning to Charleston's historic district.”

All the positives make up for the location being a bit further from restaurants and bars, although within walking distance depending on your abilities. We’d stay here again!”

“Quiet location providing easy walking to most of the historic and museum sites as well as restaurants aplenty. Charleston provides a downtown area shuttle (DASH) if walking is an issue. Good included breakfast with many options. Friendly staff. The accommodations are not opulent but they're comfortable and enjoyable. The draw is the history of the building and the area. The other guests were all friendly. No one was there with a "one percenter attitude."”

It takes quite a bit for me to actually leave a review, so congratulations,you’ve achieved something special. First, if you’re hoping to call the front desk, prepare for a scavenger hunt. The calls appear to be outsourced somewhere in a parallel universe because whoever answers has absolutely no idea how to help with anything at the property.……
