"The room is very tired and quite dirty. Bathroom was disgusting, thick dust and grime on lower shelf and lower toilet system. Bin was thick with dust on top. Shower unit looked so old and grimey we didnt use. The toilet did not flush properly. The staff however were really friendly. No food available."

" Absolutely loved this place. The decor was rustic, quirky with some steam punk thrown in. The atmosphere was relaxing and Helen and John were so welcoming and friendly. We were on our way to an event and we wanted to get our bearings in daylight as we would not be checking in until the evening so we popped in on the way. We were welcomed by Ocho the dog, such a handsome good boy!! There is some building works going on outside but don't let this put you off. I would love to see the place in the summer as there is a huge firepit and pizza oven outside. The only downside we had was that we only booked for one night, something that we plan to rectify in the summer! I'd just like to say thank you for making our weekend away an amazing one. :"
