「Beautiful property! The house was just as described. Closest restaurant (20 min) is at Crater Lake all of the other restaurants are at least 30 min away but the house has a great kitchen. We loved being close to Crater Lake but not in the heart of it. Loved the country feel. Would definitely stay here again!」

We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, and the available flashlights were very useful when we went stargazing. The bed was also very comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. 「This was a sweet cabin on a beautiful lake. Everything was as-described and the staff were very responsive on getting us firewood for the wood stove. We would have appreciated a welcome info packet with area and cabin info. Also would’ve like a bit more lighting in the cabin. We really enjoyed our stay. 」

「This property is very isolated with the nearest store in Chiloquin about a 25 minute drive. Crater Lake visitor center a good hour’s drive through pretty country. We wanted the privacy and enjoyed it very much. The kitchen was stocked with all one could wish for in a home, not a rental. Flour, sugar, oil, coffee, tea, spices, etc. Water pressure great, bed comfy. There’s a porch for sittin’ and rockin’. Communication with Clarissa was quick and helpful. We would definitely return if we could!」

「Pros: Check-in was keyless and easy. Beds were fine, kitchen was well stocked with tools for cooking. The lake views were also a draw for sure, and it was quiet. Cons: It was a hot day and the inside of the house was VERY warm (88 F). Despite what was advertised, there is NOT central AC. There is a small mobile Toshiba unit in the back bedroom, but it was off. When we turned it on it leaked and sprayed water everywhere (which someone knew, because there was a towel on the floor under it). No...
