"Overall, this is a good hotel. The view is excellent and easy access to the beach and the pier. The Pinky’s restaurant being downstairs was also convenient. Our complaints would be no microwave, no gym, and bad ventilation in the bathroom. "

"The home is as described on the site. We enjoyed our stay. Overall pros and cons…Pros - very quiet, clean and well stocked throughout the house. Excellent communication from host. Nice backyard. Comfortable bed. Cons - not walkable to anything, have to drive to places on James Island (5-10 minutes) or downtown Charleston (20 minutes). Also the home lacks any character or charm although it is well furnished. "

"Charming and well equipped cottage, right on the river and very walkable to the Folly Beach downtown and all of the excellent bars and restaurants. 2br/2ba Kings Tide cottage was a pleasure to stay at, cozy and comfortable. Would definitely return!"

"It was a really nice space to stay with bird noises out back to listen to while drinking coffee. There were plenty of towels and pillows and the house had ample seating. It was a little stuffy when we got there but figured out the mini splits and got the temperature regulated. The host was quick to answer any messages. The front spiral staircase is not for those who are not agile. It was tricky to navigate a roller suitcase up and down the stairs. "

"AC was broken when we got there. It was repaired the next day. Furniture dirty and very old. Awful to sit in and relax. Porch looks great in pictures but had an old rug balled up in the corner. Furniture outdoors had not been cleaned. "

"It was a very quiet location and comfortable. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Often at rentals they do not have sufficient pot sizes or they have non-stick frying pans that should have been thrown out long before, so it was greatly appreciated. Location was easy to get around from and the instructions were very easy on how to access. And a short drive over to Folly Beach. From general use we did notice some wear and stains on mattress covers, or just overall age of mattresses. It would be nice not to fall into a crevice from the many sleeping uses before or to have less flat pillows. It was so quiet though and we all slept well. Thank you for the use of your home. Our family really enjoyed our stay. "

"The roomy condo accommodated our needs and then some. There was everything one could need, and then some, to prepare and cook food. Rob was great with attending to a maintenance issue and rueful for the imposition; while a slight inconvenience, it did not affect our holiday. The view could not be improved upon as the sun rose on the left and set on the right--beautiful and reminding of the glory of the Lord. "
