Was a late night find after a flight cancellation that didn’t cost >500$. Didn’t know what to expect. Older style beach “motel”. Gives off an old Floridian vibe. Grounds are lovingly maintained and ample shaded areas to sit and chat and play games, nice pool. Felt like someone’s home/ yard. Near the beach and walkable. Ended up staying two nights. It may be older but very clean and bedding, pillows, towels in great shape. It was my first time in pompano beach and if I travel here again I would definitely stay here again.

The staff was lovely. I was stranded-in a way due to my friend caught in PA snow. The front desk let me store my belongings until the room was ready. Cons: 1. there is no elevator, getting luggage up and down lots of steps could be a challenge. 2. The room was only ok. Bedding was old, as was the actual bed. 3. Shower and bathroom were not the best Pros:1. Room was clean 2. The grounds were pretty. Pool was nice 3. Location is excellent ! It is beach block. Lots of restaurants. Why someone doesn't do some upgrades to this place, I am not sure. It could be a gold mine.

The outside property and landscaping is very nice with a tropical feel. The pool is also well maintained and nice. The bathroom is small compared to larger hotel chains. My biggest complaint is there is no electrical outlets in the bathroom, therefore the hair dryer we found, and remained, plugged into the outlet at the sink next to the coffee maker in the kitchen area. I am quite sure that is an environmental hazard.

Very close to beach and restaurants. Outdated. Says that there are beach chairs and towels for beach but there were only 3 chairs for entire resort. Towels were the tiny bath towels for the shower. There wasn't enough of those either. Pool was filthy.

If the "landlord special" was a hotel, this would be it. Broken lamp shade, poor paint and shower tiling, torn curtains, burnt out light bulb, a broken toilet seat, and subpar mattress and pillows. There was no bathroom fan and the room smelt of mildew. That said...it has great beach access and the staff was friendly enough. If you dont plan to spend any time in the room, it's acceptable.

Room is not renovated. Bathroom small, without a vent, shower curtain too short. It get flooded at every shower. No one came to clean room, remade beds or change towels. There is no reception area, except a front desk. Not even a bathroom to get changed when you arrive too early for your room to be available. We ended up changing in the car!!! The beach is free, but there is no umbrella and chair rentals near by. The motel offered to rent for $30/day for one umbrella, and $30 for each chair, which we passed. Pool is OK. Parking OK too.

The room was pretty clean although there was a third bed where the dogs should have been. It was a king bed with the worst mattress I have ever seen. Could not sleep on it. The stove did not work, and they said,"oh yeah, sorry". The outside area was lovely and well kept.

Room was very clean except for the floor; I asked to have it mopped but it was only swept. The outdoor grounds are well kept, very nice with plenty of seating. Front desk very accomodating, super helpful and pleasant to deal with. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available, a refundable deposit is required for them. Pool area very clean and beautiful.
