Family vacation

Though some things have reopened on Ft. Myers Beach, it still has a long way to go to recover from the hurricane damage. The property we stayed at is still under construction even though the unit we rented has been remodeled. The beach at this property is beautiful.

Every day is a beach day

Very nice property. Beautiful views. Steps from the beach which is fantastic. Collected shells and swam in the ocean each day. Watched the sunset from the beach. Saw dolphins. It was great. The only thing for me that would have been nice, is access to a work out facility on the property. It was under construction and I’m not sure we would have had access had it been open.

Fun For the Family

Great layout for multiple generations since the bedrooms are separated on multiple ends. The unit is very large and lots of space. I stayed with my family of 4 and my wife's parents and there was plenty of room for us. Pool is very nice as is the view from the unit. Construction is everywhere right now since the hurricane.

Beautiful place

Overall the place has no complaints but the location is still in heavy recovery from the hurricane. No restaurants or amenities nearby. All requires a drive to get to. But beach and pool were wonderful!

Nice unit and building in hurricane damaged zone

Nice layout three bedroom unit with balcony and partial ocean view. Very clean and well-appointed. Buildings on both sides under repair from hurricane among what appears to be about 50% recovery in the area. Roads and beaches are back to normal and the downtown zone in good shape. No reason to avoid the area and in fact somewhat less crowded is a good thing.

Would return and would recommend this place to others.

We had a great stay, complex was nice, unit was new/clean. Property manager responded quickly to a repair (pocket door) and it was fixed quickly. Complex tennis courts were closed due to construction and the neighboring property is under construction, but the daily morning noise was not bad. We looked for but didn't ever locate the recycle bin. Just a note, the complex pool/hot tub closes promptly at dark. We were disappointed that there was a significant management fee/damager waiver (400) on top of the rental price/taxes and that we had to create an account in iTrip app (not expecting) and we hadn't had to do with VRBO before.

Beautiful

The condo itself was beautiful and it was nice to have towels, chairs, coolers and even a start of coffee filters and basic condiments. We found the dishes provided to be quite adequate as well. The location was our only disappointment. While the condo is directly on the beach and has a lovely pool area with nice and clean grills, there were no restaurants or activities close by and the traffic was so ridiculous it took us over an hour to drive 1.5 miles to the Publix for groceries one evening. The condo does offer free bike rentals and we did take advantage of those when distance allowed. This condo would be perfect for people who love to spend their vacations simply at the pool and beach all week. Our family likes to enjoy different outings. We did love the Sandbox VR experience very much and were able to get to it in under an hour during midday- but not during dinner traffic time. All in all a lovely place just not a place our active family would likely return to.

Fantastic stay at GullWing Beach Resort! The condo was nice, spacious, and well maintained with stunning ocean views. The beach access was perfect, the grounds were peaceful, and communication was excellent throughout our stay. It truly felt like a home away from home — we can’t wait to come back!

Summer beach getaway

Took a short break from the rigors of life to enjoy a few days at the beach. The location of the condo was great being just steps from the beach. Renovations are ongoing at the property from damage due to hurricane Ian but did not interfere with our vacation. The best times were spent on the screened in lanai and sitting on our beach chairs in the ocean. Overall a wonderful time away and I would definitely stay at this property again.

The parking sticker that is provided by Gull Wing has a departure date, so there is no need to leave yours for the next guest.... they need to secure their own. Every thing was very nice, this is our stay #12 at Gull Wing, and we have enjoyed them all!

My recent stay at this property was amazing. The condo is roomy and beautifully decorated. The location is great with a nice ocean view. All the essentials were available and the property was meticulously clean. It is a great property for a family or two or more couples or individuals.
