A Lovely Break from Winter

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Windward Passage, located in a quiet and charming area of Fort Myers Beach. The condo isn't fancy but it was very clean, more spacious than we were anticipating and had a well-stocked kitchen. The large screened-in balcony, where we spent a lot of time, has plenty of room and beautiful gulf views. We also liked that we were within walking distance of the Times Square area and restaurants. The grounds are well-taken care of and there is a very nice heated pool. Owners are responsive and very nice to work with. We will definitely come back (Lord willing)!

Great Location on the beach

We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at this very quiet resort that has a great location. It was right on the beach and close to several restaurants and shopping. There was a front office that was staffed with friendly and helpful people from 9 to 5 each day, except Sunday. The condo was clean, spacious, and simply decorated. The kitchen was well stocked except it did lack a hand mixer. However, we were able to borrow one from the office. The location of the resort was right on the beach and the pool was on the south side where there was sun shining all afternoon. A highlight of our evenings was watching beautiful sunsets from the balcony with a glass of wine in hand. There was a trolley available to take us from one end of the island to the other and even off the island, but we never used it. We walked the short distance to the Times Square area for an afternoon ice cream fix and shopping or later in the day for dinner at one of the many restaurants. It took us no more than 15 minutes to walk. Besides the north end of the island being quieter, it was much quicker to reach too. We drove to a restaurant located in the middle of the island and it took us forever to get there and then back again because of traffic. Traffic onto the island can be a bit of a frustration at times, but once we were over the bridge and through the time square area we quickly reach the Condo. We definitely would stay at this condo again. The people staying there were very friendly and we enjoyed talking to them around the pool during the day.
