“Excellent stay in Bacalar. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the pool is great, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The front desk gave us great recommendations for activities. Having bicycles available was super convenient. The location is perfect, right near everything. We nearly booked a much more expensive hotel outside of town and are so glad we didn’t. Staying here was far more convenient and enjoyable. Will be back for sure. ”

“There is no onsite parking even though it says there is. We parked on the street. Room clean. Bathroom nice. Lots of hot water. Free water, coffee, tea in common area. Cute little welcome basket of Mexican candy. Cute and artsy. ”

“One of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed. Amazing jungle setting, super cool rooms with amazing decor, romantic lighting, thatch walls, outdoor shower, awesome plunge pool at the front door. We loved the cats everywhere, the open air reception lounge, awesome, friendly staff and beautiful lagoon. This place was like a super cool, semi fancy Gilligans island. If you like boring, beige, generic hotel chains, don’t come here. ”

“A family run small hotel right by the seafront. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The owners were also helpful and kind. No breakfast but there is a clean and well equipped kitchen to make your own food. Shower had good hot water. The only thing lacking was a blanket. ”

“We were really pleased with our stay at the AGAM - it was well located about a five minute walk to the lagoon and ten minutes to the zócalo. The hotel is beautifully kept with a nice pool and garden, and clean and stylish rooms. The bed was comfortable, though a little on the firm side. Breakfast was really nice, and the staff were fabulous. We had help booking tours, and when there was a medical emergency they really went above and beyond to help sort out some logistics. “Buen hotel , buena ubicación, la comida de su restaurante buena . El wifi nunca sirvió a pesar de que nos dieron 2 redes. La habitacion con balcon y hamaca vale la pena . El club de playa bien aunque con el sol es tedioso llegar a el ya que son 10 minutos caminando. ”
