Perfect Peaceful Getaway

Coyote Cabin was the perfect getaway from out busy city lives. This precious immaculate cabin was situated among deep woods off a dirt road. The front porch was the perfect place to hang out. The cabin is decorated so cute, the appliances were brand new and the beds SUPER comfy. Would stay here again.

Peaceful is exactly what this place is!!!!

From the very first phone call I knew I had called the right place! The booking person was very kind and helpful since my daughter and I just took off on a spur of the moment spend the night trip. When we walked in the door I immediately loved the place and felt the peace!!!! Everything was super clean and nice. We loved the gas log fireplace and we had everything we needed. The bed was cozy and we had a great nights sleep! You won’t regret staying at Coyote Cabin!!!

Beautiful, Serene, Relaxing

My son, two grandchildren, and I went and Coyote Cabin is absolutely amazing. The pictures do not even do this cabin justice. It is very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The hammock and fire pit were loved by the grands, and us too. Misty was our travel coordinator and was so helpful in giving us pointers in the area to have fun with places to dine. The Hatter Cafe is a definite must. We will definitely book with Peaceful Retreats again.

Anniversary weekend

The Coyote cabin was absolutely awesome. We rested, took in the beauty around us, ate, and visited local crafters. But it was so quiet and peaceful at the cabin. It was clean and supplied so well. A very thoughtful basket of goodies and the tea was such a nice touch. The voucher for The Hatter was so nice! We loved it all. Thank you so much for hosting us in your beautiful cabin!

Coyote Cabin

We stayed at Coyote Cabin May 2nd thru 5th. Our cabin was surrounded by beautiful woods that was on the edge of the state park. Coffee and breakfast on the deck was such a delightful activity for us to get our day started with. We ended each busy day by relaxing by the camp fire with s’mores. The cabin also had a great napping couch for those (me) that might have a hard time keeping up with the other people!

Coyote cabin and our host Misti exceeded our expectations and provided a wonderful getaway for my family.

Coyote Cabin at Woodland Retreat met all our needs. The natural setting of this property was quiet and peaceful, and the deer and hummingbird that visited were a treat. The location was perfect, as it was close to Desoto State Park, Little River Canyon Preserve, and an easy drive to other attractions in the area. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable, had a well stocked kitchen with everything you might need for a meal or snack, cozy blankets for rest time, and the perfect hammock for a nap. They really thought of everything! Our host, Misti, was very responsive to our questions and made check in and check out seamless.

Exceeded Expectations

My wife and I had wanted visit the Fort Payne area of Alabama for along time, we finally decided make the trip to see the fall colors and get away from the heat and humidity of S. Fl. I found Peaceful Retreats by accident on line, liked what I saw, and booked a cabin for our getaway to the mountains. I have to say our whole experience was fantastic. The booking process was straight forward and easy. The staff was pleasant, informative and helpful. The cabin we stayed in was perfect, well appointed, and immaculately clean. Quiet relaxing stay at Coyote Cabin

We had a wonderful stay at Coyote cabin. It’s secluded with only one other cabin in view on the property. Extremely close to Desoto park and falls. We did the hiking trails and swam at the Hippie Hole. We were able to bring our dog with us and he got some hiking in too. We enjoyed grilling burgers for dinner and relaxing in the hammock. The kitchen is fully functional and we only ate out with the vouchers we were kindly provided with to the Hatter Cafe in Mentone, which was delicious. The first night I discovered that the bathroom was missing a hair dryer and the host kindly provided one the next morning. Very accommodating and attentive. Would recommend to anyone for a long weekend.

Fresh pet friendly convenience cabin

Our stay for my bday was great get an away and the communication with the host was stellar. She even text, emailed & messaged through the VRBO app(important because if you fat finger your email address in the VRBO app while booking learned the hard way w another host you’ll never received anything but will be charged) Arriving was easy. Short drive to hiking at parks! Dog friendly while still very fresh spotless and clean! Still has that “in the woods on the Mtn “ feel. Host even left a few local goodies. Deposit returned quicker after clean check out. 2 great bedrooms with full bathroom. Only thing missing was a hot tub (maybe one will be added later bc there’s great space) & later check out time when your on vacation, it’s at 10am.
