We visit the Gulf Coast 4 to 5 times a year and this particular stay, we were blown away at how quiet the area was. The views were top notch and the home was very very nice. We will be back !!!!

Siblings Vacation in Paradise

Our four day, three night stay was wonderful. The five bedroom home worked perfectly for my siblings and I. The home is immaculate and has everything one needs including games and books to just relax in doors or outside. The screened in veranda and balcony allowed us to sit outside and overlook the waters that were so amazing. Everything is just as pictured in the advertisement. There are several stairs leading to each floor; however, we quickly realized the rooms were equipped with tv's and outlets as needed to allow us to comfortably relax and not run back and forth. Beds were large and comfortable.

Check in was great. House was clean and as descibed. Had a plumbing issue that was solved quickly due to property manager responding quickly to text. View was great.

Beautiful view in Sandestin!

This house was the perfect size for our group of 6 women visiting for a tennis tournament at the resort. The view off the patios/decks was amazing!! The kitchen was well stocked for what we needed. We all felt the beds were pretty comfy. The couch was also comfy. The two chairs in the living room, the dining chairs and the chairs outside were pretty worn out and/or dirty. We did have an issue with the dryer not drying well, the A/C not cooling properly and a smoke detector battery was chirping at 5:30 am. The mgmt was VERY responsive though and sent someone over first thing to address everything. The AC eventually did cool (we had to call them back a 2nd time) but the dryer really never worked well (even though they said it was) as it took multiple cycles to dry a very small load of towels with the lint trap cleaned. We all felt the duct likely needed cleaning out. All in all it was a good stay and met our needs for the weekend!

Clean and nice community.

Property was clean and neighborhood was nice. Parking was very limited. And contacted property management with the phone number the was given but a person answered that said she did not manage this property anymore. But she did try to give advice on where to park. Also community pool gate was not functional. Could not use the pool as the gate was broken and would not work.

Family Vacay

Overall we had a great stay. The view from the master suite balcony was beautiful; we even saw a pod of dolphins swim by right next to us! The house itself could have been cleaner, it hadn't been dusted in awhile - vents and some furniture covered, the bed in one of the bedrooms might have been broken, very noisy and uncomfortable. We didn't reach out as we didn't want to interrupt our stay. The dryer didn't work, we let our clothes hang dry outside. Shower on Main floor didn't have hot water so we all used the showers on the second floor. We didn't let these issues effect our stay as we were mainly out and about and were minor to us.

Beautiful Property that is Poorly Maintained

The location of this property is wonderful and the amount of guests it holds was perfect. However, it smelled terrible upon arrival, the bedding in the master bedroom was soiled, the extra pillows looked old and dirty, and there were ants in the kitchen and bedrooms. Me and my daughter were bitten by the ants that caused terrible swelling. We immediately reached out to the property manager and the cleaning lady who were both defensive. They were slow to respond to concerns/issues raised and were even more defensive even with the pictures and videos provided. They sent maintenance out with Raid spray that further aggravated the ants and they remained in the property. I literally had a back and forth with the cleaning lady (who stated she knew for a fact the place was clean because her daughter cleaned it) but we saw different. The property manager was equally defensive but became apologetic, a little, after I told her we also have a rental business and never treat our tenants this way. I also advised that a new cleaning company is needed as we had to buy candles, carpet freshener, deodorizer, and wash dirty dishes and silverware that were placed in drawers as if they were clean. I would love to speak with the owners and share the pictures of their property so they can see what we, their paying guests, walked into. We were most comfortable when we were outside of the property in the first 3 days. We had to remedy issues that we should have never encountered on vacation. We stay at the resort every spring break but this was our first time at this unit. We have never encountered anything like this upon arrival to Destin/Sandestin. We will continue to stay at Baytowne by the Wharf. As beautiful as this property was in the pictures and the views they display; if the cleaning company doesn't change and if the property manager doesn't change to provider better customer service; I would not recommend this particular unit.

Great stay

The house was a little further from beach access than we had hoped. One morning, we were excited to have a quick visit from a dolphin within close view from our back balconies; we also enjoyed watching fish jump. The property was gorgeous, community pool was clean and fun for our family of 10 (ages 8 months to 41 years). Screen door on balcony needs some repair, otherwise condo was clean, beautiful and in great shape. There was a loud barking dog from the one neighbor, but they left after a couple days. I did have one question and alerted the host about a couple minor issues. The host responded very quickly and offered to fix the issues. The first day, the house smelled a little like mildew, but no signs of mold anywhere. The smell went away after the first day, possibly just stale air within close proximity to the water.

Family Vacay

Condo was great. Plenty of room for our family of 10. Hostess was very prompt in answering our questions. Only downside was parking only available for 2 vehicles at property. Was allowed to leave the other two at the golf course parking lot. Just was inconvenient if you have more than 2 vehicles. Plenty of things to do in the area as well as plenty of good restaurants.

Beautiful property & area!

Such a lovely place! High recommend! Property manager informed us that the owner is going to do some redecorating. It’s not really needed. In fact, I’d say the only thing it truly needs is a good deep cleaning: carpets & grout, window seals, etc. We will definitely return to this rental!

March rental for golf

The property was very nice and really convenient. Meet all our needs and people were very friendly. We only had one problem and was taken care quickly. Fixed and no problem again. I wouldlike have liked a few cleaning supplies. Would allowed us to clean better.

Bayside Getaway

Property was nice, in great location and as described. Enjoyed our visit and being on the bay was great as usual.. I had previously read that the screened in porch door was “broken” and had hopes that it would be repaired. It has not been replaced but It seems there has been tape added to stabilize screen which was ok. Door works as it should. Screens on porch do allow water to come inside, and it rained several days so porch did stay wet but that would be expected. Also read in other review that the furniture needs a good cleaning or maybe some arm covers which is true. But it’s not a deal breaker. Thermostat would not recognize temperature of room when it reached amount desired and would continue to heat the home causing upstairs to become quite uncomfortable. That was remedied by opening door upstairs and letting cool air in. All in all, a nice townhouse. Just needs a bit of attention and somewhat of an update and minor repairs. We enjoyed our time here.

Gosh vacation rental

We had 10 adults and a toddler staying here for a week and we really enjoyed it. 20 feet from the gulf where we saw a manta ray, crabs, and birds. 12 min drive from the public beach. We didn’t end up using any of the resort facilities as it was unclear where we should go or if there were any real events. The beach we had access to was also not clearly marked so we stayed with the public beaches. The house feels like a normal neighborhood and we enjoyed taking walks and runs around the golf course. They do tell you in advance but note that this is a equipped as a vacation rental. Dish soap, paper towels, toilet paper etc is very minimal and is just provided to get you started not see you through your stay. We had to purchase more of everything to make it through the week.

Long needed vacation

Property was okay, but it needs a deep cleaning. Furniture had a lot of stains. Saw it in the reviews that I read before my stay but thought it may be taken care before my arrival. Back porch was very nasty. The screen door had no screen. And it rained inside the screened in porch the entire stay. Not what we expected. We also expected to have a golf cart which was shown in the rental advertisement when I made the. Reservations. The view and location was awesome. This rental needs to be cleaned. This is a family rental with no where to park. Very tight parking for two vehicles.. we were told if we had any issues to call for assistance but who wants a cleaning crew to clean during your stay. The cleaning should be done before the guest arrive.. My first day there I cleaned all day and washed bed sheets before the arrival of the other guest. This could be a great rental with a little work.

Great place with the best views of the bay

Extremely spacious condo with the best views of the bay. Denise was very friendly and easy to work with. There’s space for 2 vehicles and bikes but overflow parking in front of the pool isn’t far at all. The back porch screen door is missing the bottom panel/screen but it really didn’t bother us. We went in sept and there was never anybody at the pool that only vantage point members have access to. This was such a spacious and nice condo for the price.

We booked this house for a girls trip and while it covered the basics, I was not impressed with it. We had plenty of space for our group though and waking up to the bay sunrise was my favorite part. The cleanliness was very much lacking though (it smelled like commercial cleaner and cigarette smoke which kind of made me nauseous the whole time) and there were lots of general maintenance issues that need to be addressed, especially on the patio. We also couldn’t figure out the coffee maker and the dishes had dirty spots on them when we arrived from previous guests. I’m also not convinced the bedding was ever changed as well before we arrived. But other than that it was fine I guess. We didn’t spend too much time there though. Sandestin is great and the tram is helpful. No issues with check in or check out. Just bring all your own basics and don’t expect anything fancy.
