“This was a great way to check out from the worlds fast pace. Make sure when you google this camp site with the city and State. 1997 Fisher Ridge Road. There are two number addresses in Kentucky the same. You want to use this city and state-Horse Cave, Ky. The owner met us at the Truck Love's Stop and showed us how to get back to the secluded camp site. I would not suggest to arrive when it is dark. It was very secluded which was great for my two dogs. I ask the owner where the nearest shower was……

“My family ages 21 to 70+ had a nice long weekend at the cabin. Everything was spotless and the property was very quiet and relaxing. We really enjoyed the fire pit and screened porch. The cabin had all the amenities we needed. I especially liked that one of the bedrooms was on the main floor as my parents are elderly. The host was very responsive. Cabin location was also great and within less than a 40 minute drive of activities for all interests and ages.”

“The place was cute and a good place to stay for a night or two. We chose to go in pretty cold temperatures and noticed the unit doesn't retain heat well. The heaters ran pretty constantly.There's a wall unit and an extra heater, but the extra heater really has no where safe to go without being too close to the bed or rug. Something for the owner to keep an eye on. The water heater is fairly small so you can really only get a quick 10 minute shower when it's really cold out, but otherwise was a……

“We had a very restful night. At first the elevator didn’t work and our toilet wouldn’t flush, but we were moved to a different room and the elevator was fixed within the hour. After those issues were resolved, we had a pleasant visit. I would stay here again.”

“A grand historic building on a beautiful property! So many antiques - it's like a museum! We even had a bonfire one night. The owners are super nice and helpful. Wad convenient for Mammoth Cave tours ”

“We visited frim out of state for the first time. We stayed in the lodge. You can tell they are older buildings but kept very clean. Our room was very roomy and comfortable. It would be nice to have a little mini fridge to keep cold drinks or left overs from the restaurant but otherwise it was a good stay.”
