“We really enjoyed our stay! The beds were comfortable and everything was as advertised.”

“I loved everything about my stay”

“It’s a cosy little cabin in the middle of eureka. The check-in instructions were clear and precise. I was in town for a reunion so I really only used it for sleeping. I didn’t cook. It was perfect for a solo traveler; might be a bit tight for a couple. The best part for me was the location —- close to Harrison and Harris and Henderson and H Street. Very affordable and much quieter than Broadway.”

“Josh, thank you for a wonderful stay at your Blue Spruce Retreat. It served as the perfect base for our visit to the Redwood Curtain—conveniently situated to access all the local attractions while offering a peaceful atmosphere. The home is stylishly appointed, with standouts like the Frame TV and unique lighting details adding a welcoming, personable feel. The attention to detail and communication was excellent. We look forward to our next visit!”

“I have had work in Eureka from time to time for the last 4 years and I always hope to reserve this cottage. It is perfect.”

“Great spot for a quick getaway. Free WiFi was super useful!”

“Great house, super clean, relaxing, and very accommodating. We will be booking again Ferndale is awesome. Thank you Laurel!”

“Ours was a one-night stay to access the Avenue of the Giants. The location was good for that. The kitchen was well-equipped. The property was secure, behind a gate. I liked having an extra half-bath and laundry onsite. However, I don't think I would stay again due to one bed that squeaked badly, no air conditioning (it was quite warm upstairs, and opening the windows brought in constant traffic noise on Highway 101 below; I resorted to the provided electric fan, which only helped a bit), and the……

“Such a cute place. Cost is comparable to a hotel but so much better. Adorable kitchen area and outdoor space. Perfect if traveling g with a dog. Will definitely stay again ”

“The house is super cute. Nice neighborhood. Everything was set up with intention. Every detail thought out and covered. Kitchen is very well equipped. The place was very clean. Live plants are a nice touch. The bathroom/sink is tight but was not an issue for us. The host had excellent communication. We will recommend to friends traveling through Eureka and would stay again. WAY better than any of the hotels we saw in town.”

“A lovely and clean home not far from lots of amazing sights! Amy was very helpful and kind, and I would certainly stay here again.”

“Property was great, communication with the hosts was clear and quick and the check in was seamless and very straightforward”

“The bed was VERY comfortable. It allows pets. Plenty of beautiful landscaping. Pretty quiet. Will be booking again.”

“This little cottage was adorable and I wish we could have had a little longer stay but we were up and exploring most of the time. Great location for a Redwoods visit. The property was clean, the alpaca was super cute and overall unbothered by our presence. The only thing we found a little tricky was knowing which gate to enter the cottage threw, we were unsure if opening up and walking through the alpaca enclosure was the right way to go so just a little more description in the check in……

“Great vacation stay for a week! Very relaxing and quiet area near the beach. Perfect place to stay with our dogs and enjoy some time off.”

“Great and serene location away from the usual hustle and bustle of the city. The property was easily one of the most unique experiences, apparently they’re newer to VRBO so setting up and arriving was clunky at first but as soon as I made contact with the host Michaela, it was smooth sailing from there and things were not confusing. Check in and out were clear! Cozy place and there was a bevy of things to do close by, an excellent North Star if you’re visiting Humboldt County for the first time!……

“It's such a cute place and we enjoyed our stay. Would 100% stay again!”

“The rooms provide enough comfort if you need a spot just for rest, met all basic needs nicely here without fussing over little details.”
