Foshan Spa Hotel

"This is my fourth stay in Foshan Crowne Plaza in 2024. The hotel offers an excellent buffet for breakfast (generally free or a nominal fee for hotel guests). Buffet also offers a good lunch and dinner for half price for hotel guests if you are not inclined to try local cuisine. Within 400 meters of hotel, there are 4 shopping malls, a main subway stop (Zumaio), two movie theaters, many dining options. Staff excellent and always an English speaker available. "My expectation was high when I booked the hotel due to the picture of the swimming pool. The location was excellent and close to the subway station. Check-in was smooth and fast. Got a nice upgrade to a junior suite. The stay of the first few days was excellent except the very last day when I went to the swimming pool which is a non-smoking area but there were people smoking lying on the chair. However, no hotel staff enforces the rules. Also, the men's change room to enter the pool's area...
