“Amazing cabin. Great location. We had an amazing 2nd time in this little paradise!”

“The house is well situated with a few minutes to the river and restaurants. A true gem of a property. As you walk in through the gates, you’re immediately surrounded by tall redwood trees which gives you great privacy to just unwind and relax, either next to the fire pit or the hot tub on the well crafted deck. What I also love is the lower part of the deck that has a great view of the creek flowing into the river. Just a peaceful time to enjoy a cup of coffee or get your morning stretches while……

“We had an amazing time gazing at the trees, listening to the nearby creek, and relaxing in the hot tub. We needed a relaxing getaway and couldn’t have picked a better property for that purpose. Check out and in were straight-forward and easy. Cute, cozy interior with a great wood-burning stove. We had a lovely time and will be happy to come back when we can.”

“We had a very relaxing time. Loved the convenience of the brewery across the street and having the jacuzzi every night already hot and ready for us. Bed was extremely cozy and having all the tv media outlets available for evening movies was a bonus too. ”

“We had a wonderful Christmas week here. Very convenient location Comfortable for 6 adults. Cooked most of our meals here and had plenty of supplies. It rained while we were here so we did not get to enjoy the decks and outdoor area but it would be so fun when the weather cooperated. Redwoods are amazing!”

“We really enjoyed our weekend away, two small families, sharing the house and studio across the deck. Modern Zen is set back from the road and consequently really quiet and feels super secluded. The kitchen was well set up with everything we needed for a family meal. Some really thoughtful touches and little luxuries like a heated bathroom floor! For dog owners, the dog run is secure and a real boon — but be aware that it is on fairly steep, uneven ground at the back of the property, and be……

“Willowhaven is a fantastic cabin-in-the-woods getaway destination. The interior is a little dated, and the bedroom carpet is stained, but the house is clean. The bed was extremely comfy. There is a pull-through gravel driveway. Self-check-in was a breeze. Unfortunately, I had an interruption in plans and was only at the property for about 24 hours. I arrived late afternoon, showered, slept, left for the day, came back, packed, and left, therefore I have nothing more helpful to add to this……

“The cottage is the perfect spot for some quality solo time - I used it for a writing retreat and it was ideal. I spent a week by the fire writing, did a puzzle, did some painting, made a lot of tea, and went on lots of walks (Islands in the Sea is a great hike!). The nights were cool but I was toasty - fantastic bed and heater when the fireplace was off. It would be nice to have a couple bits of instruction written down on how to turn the fireplace on (host provided via message) and how to work……

“It’s a perfect escape for a couple, a beautiful setting and very intimate. A couple of things that are good to know: the bathroom doors are louvered, so if you are not already on comfortable bathroom habit status with your person, this might change that! As other reviews have noted, the bed is fairly hard. Two nights would be my maximum. And if you are at all pillow picky and are wondering if you should bring your own, you should. It was a beautiful peaceful place and we had a wonderful time.……

“I chose this property because I liked the rustic look of the place and it fit our needs. It met my expectations. The beds were decently comfortable (foam not spring mattresses), the furnishings are what's to be expected of a property that has been a dedicated rental forever. I liked the local art up on the walls. Every room has a skylight, and that helped us wake up bright and early. The driveway is a little steep, our tires were spinning getting in and out. The hot tub wasn't working, they……
