Take a stroll into the village where you can sample the local ale in one of two pubs or treat yourselves to a Cornish breakfast in the cafe, 150 metres down the road, or pick up a pasty lunch from the bakery. Stroll on down to the quay (150 metres) where you can enjoy stunning views of the Fowey estuary, as well as a castle and the author, Daphne du Maurier's home! Or perhaps venture out and take the passenger foot ferry across the water to explore the bustling town of Fowey itself, where you can find an array of shops, cafes, pubs and more. For a more active day out, visit the nearby beaches of Lantic Bay (1 mile) and Lansallos (3.5 miles).

The lounge is a bright and airy room with plenty of natural light as well as a smart TV for those cosy evenings when you can curl up together and watch your favourite programmes. There is also a lovely dining table situated next to the large bay window, making it the perfect spot to settle down with a nice drink and watch the ever-changing tides or fabulous sunsets. The kitchen is stylishly presented, well-equipped and offers further views of the estuary from the window. The good size bedroom has a king-size bed, perfect for a lazy lie in. Completing this wonderful home is a modern shower room with WC.

- Shop, pub and beach less than 150 metres
