"The heaters need to be cleaned really badly. We turned them on because the house was cold, but they started to smell horrible. Like burnt dust. The carpets are stained and need a good steam cleaning. There was a very strange and offensive odor in the master bedroom. It smelled like the chemicals in a hair salon. We booked 3 nights and only stayed for 1. Expedia tried to reach out to the property owner, but they didn’t respond and we couldn’t get our money back. I don’t recommend this rental."

"Quand on arrive et on voit de l'exterieur, on se demande si on a bien fait de réserver là, mais dès qu'on entre, ces inquiétudes s'estompent. L'intérieur est est chaleureux et le personnel très gentil. Le resto est très bon, cependant, il est agaçant de devoir choisir la veille si on déjeune et ce que l'on vuet déjeuner (le matin même on n'avait as du tout le même appétit)."

Attention to detail, cleanliness and comfort in addition to the superb location exceeded expectations. We booked dinner at the Pennan Inn which we can recommend. Extremely good value for money, I would highly recommend."

"This was a repeat stay, having stayed at the cottage in July. On both occasions Cotton Shore did not disappoint and the garden is very dog friendly. The closeness to the shore offered beautiful walks. The neighbours are also very friendly.The accommodation and contact with the host was excellent. Certainly weâ€™ll be back next year."
