"The heaters need to be cleaned really badly. We turned them on because the house was cold, but they started to smell horrible. Like burnt dust. The carpets are stained and need a good steam cleaning. There was a very strange and offensive odor in the master bedroom. It smelled like the chemicals in a hair salon. We booked 3 nights and only stayed for 1. Expedia tried to reach out to the property owner, but they didn’t respond and we couldn’t get our money back. I don’t recommend this rental."

"The property was easy to find and communication for entry etc was great. The cottage was very well equipped and spotless, also very comfortable, and the owners left a few essentials and treats for us and our dog. Sean also called to make sure everything was OK, which was really nice of him. The garden to the rear was great for enjoying the sunshine and was fully enclosed so we didn't have to worry about our dog getting out. "Thoroughly enjoyed our stay , Susan has well and truly gone above and beyond , and thought of everything for our stay, beautiful clean , cosy and breath taking views , highly recomend this cottage and will deffo be returning. "Cooked breakfast was 10 out of 10. Room was clean. A planter of plants would have helped to diaguise the fact there was no view. The shower was a trickle more than a shower but for one night's stay it was not a deal breaker. The staff were attentive and friendly. If staying on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday would recommend you try the high tea which was great value for money and excellent."

"Staff were friendly and helpful. Couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was not my favourite meal, overcooked egg and bacon. But next day requested it to be cooked how we like it, and they did. Parking was excellent and the rooms were very clean. The Wall lights by the bed need attention, bulbs not working. Was not worth askin g for them to be replaced at the time."
