"The property was easy to find and communication for entry etc was great. The cottage was very well equipped and spotless, also very comfortable, and the owners left a few essentials and treats for us and our dog. Sean also called to make sure everything was OK, which was really nice of him. The garden to the rear was great for enjoying the sunshine and was fully enclosed so we didn't have to worry about our dog getting out. "We have stayed there before and wanted to return. It was so worth it. Nice room and wonderful restaurant with fabulous food and drink. I even had pancakes and the grill was broken! I had them two years ago and they were the best in Scotland so the owner made sure they could make them again!! They even recognized us (two traveling couples) from two years ago! Such amiable people! Five stars!!"

"The room was ideal with a walk in shower and as my husband and I are both disabled it was very comfortable indeed. The staff got us a second comfortable chair when I asked for one as there was only one in the room, this seems to be the usual furnishing in any hotel we have used, to have only one easy chair, however it is the first time we have had one of the staff run and get us another one right away. The food was first class and the staff were very attentive and helpful and accomodating . Some of our family were also staying there and they arrived too late for the evening meal and the staff got them a platter of sandwiches and salad . I highly recommend this hotel and we would stay there again ."

"Just back from a 2 night stay in the Wee House and it was fabulous. Great location looking out over the water, clean, well equipped and cozy especially with the fire lit! We have always wanted to visit Pennan since seeing Local Hero and it didn’t disappoint. It’s a central base for exploring the villages on that coast and near Troup Head with amazing bird life. Definitely recommend a stay - thanks for sharing your lovely cottage!"
