“My husband and I were driving from Denver to Dallas and needed an easy spot to crash for the night. Lone Star Inn fulfilled that need. We were able to book and check-in same day for a one night stay after midnight. The night manager/clerk checked us in quickly. After entering the room, we soon realized that a large portion of the carpet was soaking wet. When my husband told the night manager about the situation and asked for a new room, he apologized and immediately gave a new room assignment.……

“We expected chaos as we were staying during "eclipse" weekend. Instead, our room was quiet and clean on the side away from the highway. The beds were comfortable and all three of us slept well. I was thrilled to be assigned to a "non-smoking" room! I had no idea that in 2024 smoking in hotel/motel rooms was even still allowed. Smoking in public spaces has been banned in my state for nearly 20 years! I would not have been able to sleep in a smoker's room and would have ended up "sleeping"……

“The staff was nice when I checked into the hotel. However, the hotel is very outdated and is in serious need of repairs. I found roaches in my room and children are out running around until 1am. Random people will also knock on the doors and windows making it feel unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this location. ”

“Our daughter was graduating from Basic Train at Fort Sill. This home was perfect, it was literally 15 mins from gate and perfect for having a place to cook for our soldier. Check in was an ease and communication with the owner was great. There was a Walmart right behind us which made it easy to get supplies. The rooms were good size and having 2 restrooms made it so convenient for us. I would definitely recommend”

“Home is very clean, in a safe, quiet location close to shops and Fort Sill also the owner has thought of everything you need for your stay had ice cubes in the freezer, filtered water, coffee pods and snacks too. Shower was great and the beds very comfy too. Thanks for a wonderful stay.”

The one and only tiny complaint, they only had Netflix and no local channels. However I’m not there to watch tv (unless going to bed to relax) so I wasn’t very bothered by it. Can’t wait to go back!!”
