“Excellent condition; newly remodeled decor and furnishings are pleasing and comfortable. Essential items for a comfortable stay are provided, including efficiency kitchen with coffeemaker, pods and creamer, toaster, microwave, good size refrigerator. Convenient to work location. As it is situated on a knoll, care must be taken when exiting onto roadway. Hostess is very nice, responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay again and again.”

“The place was clean and decent but the picture is deceptive. We were in the old motel side. The drooping ceiling was about 6 1/2 feet high and the bathroom sink was about 2' high. It was built for elves. Not a bad place but felt kind of like a bait and switch.”

“Price was good for the area! Check-in was easy and there was no surprise extra hold for incidentals. The room itself was clean, however the evening we checked in the bathroom smelled heavily of weed and when we woke up the next morning the bathroom was overtaken by the smell of cigarette smoke. As neither of us smoke this was very overwhelming! We specifically chose a non-smoking room so we knew the smell was coming from one of the adjoining rooms. “Friendly staff and good breakfast ”

“From beginning to end this motel was a nightmare. There is a severe bed bug infestation in every single room on the property. Appliances are broken if they’re even supplied at all. Sticky carpets, sickly sweet smelling moldy rooms, the windows don’t have locks and are accessible and half the lights are torn out of the rooms leaving it almost completely black inside. Again, most importantly, there is a severe bed bug infestation on this property. You will be bitten and your property will be……

“I have stayed at the Colton Motel on several occasions. It is an older Motel, but they do keep it very clean, and everything works as it should. I feel safe there and you are able to walk to many attractions in Gettysburg along Steinwehr Ave. There are several dining options nearby, which make it an ideal place to stay. ”

“The tiny house is exactly as described. Its small, clean, cozy and comfortable. The location right on the river is fantastic. Being able to have a fire right by the water each night was such a plus. In better weather would be a great put in for canoeing, kataking. Very close many historic sights, unique shops, and outdoor activities. The hosts are very thoughtful, kind and responsive. We will be staying again!!”

“My husband and I stayed here and had a blast. The place was great, host was very communicative, and the location was great for harpers ferry, hiking, and wineries and breweries. We would definitely stay here again and may bring the kiddo next time.”

“Our group did not want to leave! It was a great space, large enough to host friends and family (we had 13 staying in the house) for a birthday celebration. Having the pool, hot tub, gym and spa, as well as a full kitchen, spacious deck with gorgeous views and a backyard equipped with a firepit and space for yard games made it easy for everyone to find something to do while at the house.
