「quiet and peaceful」

「We had a good stay. The property was good. The surrounding areas near rhe property looks like an older town, so we did not venture over there. Resurfacing of the road was in progress while we were there. Location is far away from Christiansted; we took around 35 to 40 mins to get to Christiansted by car.」

「Our stay at the Victoria House was very pleasant and delightful. The view was spectacular. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The A/C was excellent to come home to. The bathroom was spacious and up-to-date. If you just so happen to see a pear (avocado) on the ground make sure to pick it up and eat it. SOOOOO YUMMY!! The only thing that might be a con is the number of stairs - older legs got a little tired. A little softer towels might be a request for further stays. Much less important...

「Very clean, very cool, great vibes. We will be back」

「Communicating with the host was very easy and they always responded within 24 hours. The checkin process was simple and contactless, very helpful clear instructions with pictures that made it very easy. The only reason I gave this facility 4 stars on location was because it is not "on the beach" if that is what you are looking for. BUT the snorkeling by the pier and all along this area is some of the best and the beaches are within walking distance (less than a mile). There is a restaurant...

「Lovely accommodations-perfect first spot for our trip!」

「What a beautiful historic building. We were even able to get dinner downstairs at the bar and grill.」

「The location was gorgeous!! And the view from our deck like being on the ocean. The beach down the road was amazing. However the restaurant in sight was very expensive and the sunset grille was not in service except for on Saturday night. Luckily The Landing right down the street provided great food at a fair price! And the breakfast food truck also good. The rooms while cool looking are not terribly functional, the bed pillows so soft that they sunk into the bed frames and the shower leaks. So...

「Great stay…. Plan on coming back and will stay again. Everything was good thanks so much」

「Beautiful view!」

「We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!」
