Traveled from Montana to visit hubby’s family. What a great, cute little place to stay. Our dog loved his home away from home. Had everything we needed and loved the fire pits and serene location! Will stay again if the opportunity comes up!

The best place!

My husband and I stayed for an extended weekend with our 3 pups and it was the perfect getaway. Highly highly recommend staying! The dogs loved the pond and all the sand, we will definitely be coming back!

Manistee remote stay

Amazing Location and Space

This is the second time my wife, dog and I have stayed here and it was just as great as the last time we stayed. The house is nice and clean, the pond is great and it's very peacefully located out in the woods. Plan on staying here again next year at least once.

A wonderful location

From the moment I opened the curtains and saw the fall colored trees and the lovely pond out front I knew this was going to be the quiet retreat we were looking for. Wether walking the trails or driving we saw many deer squirrels and birds. This home is a gem it was clean and had everything we needed. Would love to stay there again

Great stay!

We loved how secluded this location was and it's proximity to Ludington and Manistee. It was nice to make use of the fire pit and a great view of the stars. We didn't make use of the pond as it was much lower water level than we expected but also it was colder during our visit. Would highly recommend this spot!

A Great Getaway!

We stayed for a long weekend as a quick family getaway and loved it! The kids loved fishing in the pond, as well as paddling around in the boat. You get the best of both worlds with this house. It is quiet and secluded, while town and Lake Michigan are only 15 minutes away. We definitely plan to come back and stay again!

Peaceful getaway

Perfect quiet getaway, if you’re looking for a place to relax and unwind this is it. Far enough out to where you don’t hear people or cars but close enough to town for supplies. Property was clean and just as described, property management was nice and quick to respond. We had a wonderful weekend relaxing and swimming. Can’t wait to go back!

Fresh air and forest retreat

My sister (68) and I (75) wanted to get away to northern Michigan for rest and relaxation. The cabin is located in the woods with a trail going off the property. We also enjoyed watching for fish in the pond and for deer coming to drink from it. It was a great vacation!

Loved our stay!

We had a fantastic stay. The location was absolutely perfect - easily accessible but secluded and private, exactly what we were looking for and exactly what was advertised. The kids and dogs pretty much lived in the pond all week! The place was very clean and had all the basics we needed. The property manager was quickly responsive to a minor issue we had upon check-in. Would love to stay again, next year won't come soon enough!

Relaxing home away from home

I was looking for a place to stay for the weekend close enough to our boat slip in Manistee but secluded like our home. I found this beatiful quiet gem here and had a wonderful time. My 11 year old cur had an even better time swimming in the pond attempting to catch fish and frogs. All amenities were present, down to the grill and hose. Sleeping was very comfortable. A very pleasant stay indeed. Will have to book this property again in the future.

You won't be disappointed.

We had a lovely stay! Cabin was very clean, well maintained. The property is secluded, private in the woods. My husband caught a bass in the pond the first day. We brought our dog, who loved the pond. Saw deer passing through, heard coyotes at night. It's a 15 min. drive to hikes, beaches, downtown Manistee riverwalk with shops and dining.

Family Weekend Getaway

We needed a weekend away and found this gem. It was great! The pond was a little low but we still fished and the kids loved playing in the sand and water. We took the paddle boat out a few times. Not only that, but we were only 15 minutes away from Manistee. We were able to drive to town and spend some time on the beach. The downtown is great to walk around. And it was nice to come back to the house and enjoy the peace and quiet. The house was great too! The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed. Overall great experience, we would love to visit again!

Outstanding property and Location

It was a very nice property, in a secluded area with under 15 minute drive to a dog friendly Lake Michigan beach near Manistee. The property was as anticipated for a nice getaway and would highly recommend staying here. My only issue was some minor trash left around the pond and dog waste that wasn't picked up. I love that its a animal friendly spot but figured the previous visitors or the cleaning crew would pick those things up. Regardless, I will definitely be staying here again in the future.
