Great place overall, However…

The location was amazing to walk to the beach and it was loaded with a bunch of kitchen supplies. This is what bothered me the most. 1) how can you use worn patio furniture for “living room” furniture. It was so uncomfortable and the cushions were worn and practically nothing. I could only sit on them for a mere 20 minutes before I had to move to the table and sit with my family there. 2) I cannot believe there was “DUCT TAPE” on the lower bathroom toilet seat. I know a toilet seat doesn’t cost that much! 3) the mold in the shower track for the bathroom upstairs was terrible! Please clean that out! The upstairs bathroom sink would hardly drain and it took forever for the water to go down. Overall the house was good and the location was great, but there is some work (that’s actually kind of minor) that needs to be done. Also, if you’re going to have “construction” signs stating to not use this area or don’t lean on the railings, maybe that should be a 1st high priority fix. Overall the house did its job, but it’s not gonna be my 1st choice when booking again at the beginning of summer.

Spotty Wifi is Less Important Than Family Time!

This house was immaculately clean when we arrived. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and kitchenware, so no need to bring anything unless you have something specific in mind. It is a short walk to the beach and a short drive to a crabbing pier (where you'll have better luck at night). The wifi was spotty, but we were there to see family and enjoy the beach, which was exactly what we did. The wifi did not bother us at all, as we were busy catching up, cooking outside on the deck on the propane grill, fishing, or enjoying the beautiful weather and the beach. This was a great stay and a great family get together. Highly recommend this little casita.
