“Sympathique ”

“An overnight stay and we wished we were staying longer. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms (lovely bedlinen), with access to a private terrace area. It also passed our three personal tests - a surface to open a suitcase properly, plenty of plug sockets, and good sized bedside tables! AND there were only pillows with laundered pillow cases on the bed - no grubby cushions! Excellent breakfast included in the already very reasonable price, as was the ample parking right next to the hotel. Very……

“This owner went above and beyond to help us get to the Gasthaus/hotel by providing transportation because we ran out of fuel with no stations open then had their restaurant fix us a couple sandwiches and brought them to our room. In the morning their was a fresh cooked and several choices for breakfast. The hotel/gasthaus has been in the family for five generations. This sits on a hill in the country with beautiful views. “Det var en meget fin oplevelse, med en virkelig god service. Et helt nyt stort værelse. Fornemt morgenmad.”

She kept apologising for her English… but we had no problem she was very easy to understand and told us so much about the local area. She went above and beyond with us. “Keurig Hotel zonder poespas, wij hadden een appartement deze was keurig schoon en compleet met kleine keuken met combi oven koelvries combinatie, ruime douche/toilet en Airco zeer vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt was eenvoudig toch compleet en goed. Leuke bijkomstigheid is dat op de begane grond van het Hotel een Italiaans restaurant gevestigd is (I Due Compari) gerund door 2 Italiaanse families, Zij verzorgden ook het ontbijt voor het Hotel. Heerlijk gegeten en het Personeel zo geweldig……

“Caution: This B&B was difficult to find. Lots of steps and my husband is partially disabled. A young man did help with the bags. The room was very basic. The soap dispenser (just one for both sink and shower) was empty. There were no toiletries as promised; when I asked for some, I was grudgingly given some half-empty, used ones. This marked the 3rd trip I had to make down and back up the stairs for deficiencies in the room. Bath towels were soft and fluffy but hand towels were like……
