“Our room was clean and the staff was awesome. We saw wildlife and the most beautiful sunsets. Breakfast was a very good vegetarian breakfast. Sophia was amazing and the gentleman who served breakfast was delightful.”

“We absolutely loved out stay at Senda Monteverde. The grounds are gorgeous and have access to a beautiful hiking trail just out the back. They have a new pool and hot tubs that made our experience even more relaxing. Their restaurant is delicious. We ended up eating there for multiple meals and were happy with our choices every time. The staff were all extremely helpful and kind. They are very thoughtful and helped us with any bookings we needed. We needed a ride to the airport at 2am and……

“We stayed here for one night and really enjoyed it. The lobby and breakfast area are spacious and cozy, with games you can play in the evening. The breakfast was very, very tasty and high-quality; the yogurt with granola was especially great. The staff are very friendly, and we particularly appreciate the philosophy behind the hotel, as it supports education and helps children and students. The rooms aren’t very large and there’s not much storage space for suitcases, but they’re perfectly……

During the drive from La Fortuna up and down winding roads, our daughter was sick twice (last time being 5 minutes from the hotel). The team were so caring and helpful in helping us get her and the car sorted before we even officially booked in. We opted for the laundry service which was well priced and super convenient. “Staff took us to our room only to make us move again after we settled in because she took us to the wrong room, but would not admit her mistake and lied to us instead. Found large bug on our bed crawling. Found more bugs on the ceiling and mosquito flying around in the room and a large beetle on the floor. Lamb burger for dinner meat was undercooked. Told receptionist about everything and they said and did nothing. ”

“I stayed two nights in a private room, the ladies on reception were so friendly and helpful with helping book my activities, they’ve really created a welcoming and chilled vibe. The kitchen and outdoor area is lovely. There’s everything you need both in the property and nearby. It was very chilly at night but was provided with extra blankets, the strong wind was a little noisy with plants hitting my window but I didn’t mind and always take earplugs in case of outside noise. It was super clean.……
