“The property was beautiful and very maintained. The rooms were spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. Air conditioning was great. The heated plunge pool was amazing. The staff are all helpful and polite. The food and drinks were all delicious and big portions. My favourite part was being in the middle of nature and being able to see some of the incredible wildlife that Costa Rica has. This place is a wonderful place to relax. We definitely didn't want to leave because we loved it so much.”

“Casa Curre was exactly as advertised. The views from the house were stunning, and the house is clean & comfortable. The driveway is steep & gravel - a little ground clearance is needed and 4x4 is a good idea, but probably not required. It's a longer drive into town than i realized - it's narrow and curvy but the road is in good shape. If you can make it up the mountain to Santa Elena, you'll be ready for it. “Our family of four stayed for two nights in the room with a queen and two large bunk beds and it was perfect for a short stay. The free breakfast was delicious and made to order. ALL of the staff was so kind and helpful. They helped arrange transportation to Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve and helped book a night tour at a different reserve, giving us a variety of options. We would definitely stay here again and will look into their sister hotels in Oaxaca and Nicaragua. As a bonus we saw……

“What an amazing property. It is absolutely beautiful from the time you drive in the gates. Reception was very warm and helpful. The family obviously deeply cares about their guest experience. After a very quick check in and sharing of info they walked us right to our cabana. Inside was spotless clean and in great condition. Great kitchen and bathroom with more than enough hot water for everyone. We took the walking trail around the property with the family puppy and even saw a coati.”

There were several trails on the property which were beautiful and interesting. I saw a family of Coati's one afternoon feeding on a tree at the edge of the property. That was a great experience. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. The staff was very helpful and several tours were booked through the hotel. It was a three hour drive from San Jose to Monteverde……
