Top Fripp Island Hotel Reviews

Oceanside, steps to the Beach, pets considered, cards avail, Beach Club Complex

10/10 Excellent

"Even though the listing said 3,4-minute walk to the beach, my wife made it in 2. As for myself 7 or longer. We were on vacation, and I refused to walk fast. However, she couldn't wait and went on ahead without me. We noticed several improvements. The Island Bites food court area had a lot better food options than last year, and the gentleman manager and employees were great. The room was exactly as the pictures depicted. It was extremely clean, small, but the price was fantastic for the location. If you golf, bring extra golf balls. I had a lesson from the pro at the Ocean Pointe course, and he helped me more in an hours' time than anyone before. The Boathouse also has new daily specials, and they were quit tasty. 10 out of 10, we had a great time."

Wildlife viewers dream! Peaceful & so clean, golf cart incl., pool across street

10/10 Excellent

"The Surf Shack is such a peaceful oasis right on the lagoon. So many beautiful egrets, herons, storks and alligators and deer to watch with our morning coffee. We loved having "Shortie" to drive around and explore the beautiful island. Went to Nature Center, the marina and the crabbing dock. Beds were comfy, bathrooms clean, kitchen was well stocked . Charcoal grill was great! Kathy was easy to reach and answered all our questions. Not many restaurants on Fripp, but we ate off island at Foolish Frog and Johnsons Creek Tavern-Yummy food and good service at both places. Visited the Penn Center which was extremely interesting. Having the free pass into Hunting Island State Park was helpful. The beach there was so relaxing with very few people, and good shelling. Hope to come back again. Thanks Kathy!"

FRIPP ISLAND Limo golf cart, Bikes, Ping Pong, FirePit, Cards avail, sleeps 13

10/10 Excellent

"My family greatly enjoyed our stay here for a wedding weekend in October. Comfortable beds, lovely to sit in the rockers out on the piazza as a late season, tropical storm whizzed by.. The ping-pong table was a hit with our adult children. Bicycles and golf cart were an added bonus! Our hostess was a great communicator. Highly recommend!"

Cocktail pool, hot tub, game room, sleeps 31, short walk to Beach, cards avail!

10/10 Excellent

"House is gorgeous! Right in the heart of the island. Kitchen is amazing with Wolf Stove. Dining room table is large enough for everyone to have dinner together. The pool and hot tub were a huge hit. We played pool, ping pong and even air hockey. They also had a really nice set of cornhole boards/bags!"

⭐Intimate and Updated Treehouse with Breathtaking Marsh Views⭐

10/10 Excellent

"I had a wonderful week at John's place! The description was spot on, the kitchen was well-equipped, the bed comfortable and the views outstanding! It is a rare and beautiful thing to be surrounded by the marsh tides, wildlife, live oaks and palmettos, and so close to the tidal creek dock. John was accommodating and responsive to whatever I needed. Everything about this house provided a perfect getaway!"
