Frisco birthday
Very good location but the house needs some loving. Old furniture and appliances. No pans or salt and pepper. Locked out a bathroom. Basic but well located and functional.

Lots of space
This house had a ton of space in the living room area. It was great place for a getaway. Wish there was a view of the water but it is not that far from the beach.
Property is as advertised. Clean and has great A/C! Short walk to beach. Nice neighborhood and views of the sound side and a little of the ocean from the top balcony!

Lovely rental
Cute, well maintained home with good layout. Close to beach with porch views from all rooms. Nice shower/toilet in bottom level for sand removal and nice foot shower for sandy feet. Kitchen could use some additional items.
Very nice (slightly dated) house located a short walk from the beach in Frisco, NC. Slightly isolated from restaurants/bars and entertainment and such, but for those looking to relax and escape, it's a great find. The decor is from the 90s and I'm sure there is sand in the carpet that will never come out, but all in all, couldn't ask for much more for a beach rental.

Vacasa, excellent customer service
Vacasa was very responsive and helpful. Addressed and took care of all matters of concern. The outside surrounding area of the house was beautiful and green. The A.C. worked wonderfully! Kept the house cool.

Nice Stay
Claireview provided a very comfortable stay. Beds and furniture were comfortable, and the house has a nice layout. Great TV! Easy walk to the beach. We thought it was cleaned pretty good considering the busy season. There were several minor maintenance issues, like missing blind slats, sliding doors that were stuck, the overhead light in the dining room looked like it was falling from the ceiling. If these issues were fixed, this home would be 5 stars. But even as is, we would stay there again.

Good stay
This is somewhat of a smaller house than we’re use to so it felt a little cramped at times but we made it work. A second master bath would have made a big difference being that we had two separate families. However, we knew this before we booked and it was only a 3 night stay so it was manageable. The queen beds were comfortable but seemed rather small. The location is great and only about a 2 minute walk to beach access.

Spacious house
The overall house is nice but we had complaints. It wasn’t very clean, top floor had mold spots on the ceiling, missing slats on verticals blinds in bedroom so we had to cover with sheets, some mini blinds were broken so we weren’t able to close them all the way at night. Owners need a little more attention to details.
First of all, I have to say that the location of the house and the space it offers were perfect. It was a quick walk to the beach with easy access. It was also the perfect space for our party. There were enough beds, and the common spaces were nice for hanging out and playing games. The kitchen was a little small, but it still served its purpose well. The outside balconies and outdoor shower were great. The bedding was comfortable, and there were extra sheets and pillows that were useful.
However, there were a few cons. The description says waterfront, but I didn't consider it waterfront. You can't really see the water or the lighthouse as mentioned in the description at all. You can see a little tiny bit of the water (but not the lighthouse) if you go on the 3-story balcony off the loft, but if you go out there, then I would be careful because it does not seem safe at all. It seems unsteady and rickety.
That's part of the other issue. The house swayed a lot when people were walking around or going up and down the stairs. It wasn't just a little; it was very noticeable. Perhaps that is needed for weather reasons, but it felt a little unnerving at times. There were a couple of cracks on the living room ceiling and on one of the living room walls (that crack was covered with white paint), and that unnerved my wife, who was concerned the house was having foundation issues.
In addition, the place is definitely a throw back to the 90s. It's very outdated and could use a few updates with blinds, paint, carpet, etc. Some of the blinds didn't even work or were falling apart. The vertical blinds on the sliding doors also need some work. The "stocked kitchen" could also a little work on updating things and adding a few other need items. It smelled a little musty, but that may just be age. I do wish there had been a few extra towels, and the sheets were not on the bunk beds when we came in. They were on the other beds but not the bunk beds. Also the pool was closed, which really stinks because it was still very warm when we were there, and we could have used the pool.
Overall, I would probably stay there again because of the space and location, but it does need some definite updates, and the description needs to be a little more true to the waterfront/lighthouse view.
