“The cabin was so beautiful, as was the surrounding property. We saw moose behind the cabin both nights we were there. Very thoughtful of our hosts to stock the pantry with plenty of everything. It was nice being able to do some laundry while we were there. The gravel road we had to take was super rough in one area, but no big deal - just take it very slow if you have a small car.”

“What a great, quit neighborhood. Beautiful Fritz Creek right outside your door. Not far from Homer and the Spit. Well stocked bedding and towels. They also leave you a few pods and dryer sheets for doing laundry. Would be nice if the kitchen pots and pans were upgraded a little bit and a BBQ would be nice. Other than those minor issues, it was an awesome stay!”

“The noise transfer from the upstairs was terrible and relentless. There were no instructions on how to use the TV/Dish. Dishes were chipped. Allowed dogs but there was no receptacle outside for cleaning up after the dogs. On the upside the unit has sufficient space, beds were comfortable, and linens were good. It was clean, and the host was thoughtful in providing tea and coffee.”

“We enjoyed our relaxing stay at the Moose’s View. It was a perfect location for exploring Homer, close to town, yet far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. It was very comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed for our three night stay. We loved the beautiful view of the Homer Spit, Katchemak Bay, and the surrounding mountains. We saw bald eagles and moose from the living room window, and sandhill cranes in the neighbor’s yard. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit……

“We loved staying here for our first trip to Alaska! The location is just unbeatable. We saw bald eagles and sea otters right from the front deck. Easy to park and we loved the access to ask the shops and the boats for our excursions. Seeing the fish get processed out back was so cool and yes you can hear a little noise from the Saloon behind the rental but it did not bother us at all. Highly recommend!!”
