We stayed at The Old Fort III and loved every second of it! The location was fantastic as it was close to all the restaurants and bars, the views of the ocean and Funchal were gorgeous and the apartment was spacious and cozy.The place has full amenities (iron board, washing machine, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, fridge and dishwasher.Book this if you’re looking and it’s available, you won’t have any regrets!

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay. Right in the heart of Funchal, the location of the apartment was perfect. Just right outside our door was the ocean and countless restaurants. We loved getting to wake up to the sound of the ocean & knowing we could grab a bite to eat within minutes. The apartment itself was very clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable--something we really appreciated after days spent hiking around Madeira. The communication with the owners was also great. They are very quick and responsive and provided us with all the information we needed to have a seamless trip. We would definitely stay here again!
