「Great boutique hotel. Staff was kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern looking with a traditional flare to it. Great location if you have transportation as you can be in some great beaches all within 20 to 30 minute drive. Highly recommended 」

「Very friendly contact just like family!」

「We stayed in this hotel for 4 days. It's located at the most crowded square of Praia do Carvoeiro, just by the beach, very convenient. The staff was nice and the room was okay. Car parking space was difficult to find, though. Free wifi was provided at hotel lobby. Overall, we'll say it's a pretty good choice in this area.」

「Positief verblijf 」

「Very nice hotel, rooms are spacious, comfy bed and very clean hotel. Coffee shop and Italian restaurant right on the property. Access to the pool next door is absolutely great with an amazing view. Parking is just across the street (free)」

「We had an amazing stay. Our Junior Suite (301) was huge, clean, and really comfortable, with a big bathroom and balcony. Breakfast had so much choice. the bread rolls were delicious and fresh, though most of the fruit didn’t look fresh or was in syrup. That was the only downside. Portimão itself isn’t very lively (except for the touristy strip), but it’s easy to get to other coastal towns like Ferragudo, Vilamoura, or Lagos. The staff were super friendly. 「Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Alle Strände in Lagos sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Unser Zimmer hatte sogar Rollladen. Wir waren im Guesthouse untergebracht, aber das war kein Problem, weil das Haupthaus direkt um die Ecke war. Das Frühstück ist auf jeden Fall sehr gut!」

「Ruhige, saubere Hotelanlage. Die schönen Hotspots der Westalgarve in der Nähe. Freundliches Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück-Buffet. Mietwagen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Allerdings würden wir das nächstes Mal ohne Halbpension buchen. Es gibt Abends ein Menü, kein Buffet. Das Essen ist in Ordnung, konnte uns final nicht recht überzeugen.」

「Had a wonderful stay at Âncora. The room was very spacious and clean. The pool is huge and was always a peaceful place to relax. The walk into Old Town is a little far, so we used uber/bolt to get around. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing vacation. It’s within walking distance of spectacular beaches! 」
