Clean room Staff are friendly Breakfast food was great Area is amazing Given it is a bit remote from the city, would appreciate if driving clear signage is installed on the nearby roads to make easy to the gait In the same regard, having a staff person available on phone in case if urgent help is needed

The agriturismo is at the edge of San Sano, and is about a 15 minute drive into Siena. Its an old farm property surrounded by vineyards. It was a lovely resting place with a nice pool. The staff were very welcoming.

We were there for 3 nights, may 4th to 7th. Friendly staff! Owners are wonderful! The site is amazing and really well taken care of. The included breakfast was really delicious . Would strongly recommend this place. The area offers amazing views.

Incredible place!! The pool and views were my favorite part. The perfect place to get away from the busy cities. So many amazing wineries and dinner spots within a 20 minute drive. Rooms were exactly as pictured. Clean, secure, and comfortable. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely lovely

The place, food, people and setting were absolutely wonderful. The breakfast that Suzanna prepared were out of this world. We arrived in a very bad mood after being stuck in traffic for a very long time and Elena and Suzanna got us relaxed and happy. It was like staying in a postcard

This Agriturismo was one of a kind! A vacation from our vacation! The grounds are breath taking, the rooms are beautiful with lots of character, the pool was peaceful and clean, and lastly, the staff is beyond kind and welcoming. We interacted with many ladies, including Lorrena, who made us tourists feel safe and accepted. The wine tour of the vineyard was intimate and special. Definitely recommend this peaceful stay to all adults who are looking to relax.

What a delightful experience at this stunning property, surrounded by charming olive trees and picturesque vineyards. The staff was exceptionally warm and welcoming, and the cuisine was absolutely exquisite. A special thank you to Lorena, whose radiant smile and attentive care made our stay truly unforgettable. She is, without a doubt, one of the most remarkable service professionals I’ve ever encountered. Any business would be fortunate to have such a dedicated and wonderful team member like her. The property is set in the tiny village of San Sano, surrounded by vineyards and olive orchards. Beautiful! The property itself is in excellent condition even though it is in the remains of a long destroyed castle. The rooms were ample sized and clean. The on site pool was well maintained and had lounge chairs with umbrellas surrounding it. The staff was super nice and helpful. Morning breakfast ( included) and light dinner (at an extra cost) were tasty. The light dinners were prepared outside the property and featured typical Tuscan food options. The property owner offers tours of his vineyard and wine tastings for his very good wines.

Beautiful grounds, the breakfast was very nice and fresh homemade foods. Pool was clean, a bit too cold for me. Shower was a bit small, but workable. Air conditioning worked great. It is not close to any shopping or restaurants (except for one fabulous restaurant that was walking distance). Would stay again. No elevator, lots of steps...but they do have ground level rooms.

The property is gorgeous! Very remote, so expect a long drive (the direction we arrived from required us to drive on a winding unpaved gravel/dirt road for a few miles). It was also a little difficult to find—there aren’t very obvious signs at the road. We parked in the wrong area because you apparently needed a code to enter the correct place, but we didn’t know the code until we walked in to reception. So we had to move our car. The parking area is also gravel, so it was difficult to roll our bags in. Our room was lovely and clean, with comfortable beds! But it was up a very steep flight of stone stairs, which could be a problem if you have mobility issues. The staff are excellent and welcoming, and the on site dinner was delicious! We also enjoyed sunning in the pool area, although it was too cold to swim (it is not heated). Overall it was a great stay, although a bit daunting to figure out how to check in/where to go/where to park upon arrival.

Our stay at Agriturismo San Sano in Chianti was absolutely wonderful. The location is stunning, surrounded by Tuscan vineyards and rolling hills with views that seem to go on forever. The buildings are eclectic and full of character, capturing the true feel of Tuscany. The staff went above and beyond. Lorena was incredibly helpful in guiding us to the property. Alberto was truly amazing — after my daughter had a Vespa accident earlier in the day, he arranged crutches from locals and even brought food to our room so she could rest. The whole team was warm, accommodating, and kind throughout our stay. Even when I accidentally left with the room key in a rush to catch a train, they were so gracious about it. This is a beautiful, peaceful place with authentic Tuscan charm and genuine hospitality. I highly recommend Agriturismo San Sano for anyone looking for an unforgettable stay in the Chianti region.
