It was pretty clean, I feel the master bath may have been missed on the last cleaning. Beds/ pillows were comfortable. There was a nice selection for outside seating. The master bedroom upstairs got pretty warm during the day (even with the air on), it was essential to keep the shades down. One of the bedrooms downstairs had a patio door that was completely shattered, so we did not use it while we were there. It is right off the golf course so there was the occasional golf ball we would hear hit the siding. Overall a great place to stay when visiting Galena.

The stay was great. It was for my birthday and we made it our first couples trip! The location was great, the layout of the house was very open and pretty. We really enjoyed the house and it being mins away from the downtown area! The only complaint the guest had was the temperature thing. It would get really cold downstairs by the bedrooms and toasty at the bedroom upstairs. Other than that, it was a perfect getaway!!

Fantastic property with the South course in the backyard. Very clean with everything you need. Hot tub was a very nice add. We are planning on booking again next year.

Perfect stay minutes from Downtown Galena

A lovely a d cozy house just minutes away from downtown Galena. We came for the hot air balloon races which were cancelled but the location of the house was so close to downtown, we were able to find all kinds of entertainment.

Perfect relaxing getaway

We do a lot of rental homes and apartments, this one so far has been the best! First, extremely clean. All rooms, and the outdoor areas were immaculate. I've been at places where the inside was clean but outdoor areas had to be wiped down, but here there wasn't a single cobweb, wasp nest, or even a dead bug to be found, indoors or out. It was comfortable, and the amenities were fantastic. The deck overlooks the golf course, and the houses are far enough apart that you didn't feel crowded or public. The whole area is calm and peaceful,. You can sit on the deck, or if the weather is a bit less than dry, there's a covered screened portion as well. Communication with the property was easy, they sent us a note with what to expect and how to get in. It was seamless and simple. There was a book available that told us how to reach out for assistance, instructions were very clear.This property is about 10-15 minutes outside of Galena. We brought our bikes, and it was just under 2 miles to get to the little grocery store, as well as a nice restaurant overlooking the course. We just needed a quick get away to relax and recharge, and this place was perfect. Highly recommend, and we will be back.

GWG, Great Weekend Getaway

Great location to escape the city and suburbs, let the kids be kids and let the adults explore and pick and choose from a couple dozen restaurants and bars to nearly a hundred shops and sites to visit in this area. The Galena Territory is true escape from the buzz of city traffic and crowds. It was a peaceful homelike setting with everything any family would need to enjoy the weekend. So clean and presentable, our home was almost new, and we all agreed we will seek to stay here again on any plan to revisit the area.
