“This was like a piece of tranquil paradise in the middle of Galle Fort. “The stay is very good. You will have a decent stay here and warm welcome from their staff. The morning breakfast is delicious. The room is clean. The staff also helped me to find a tuk tuk and give me advice on reasonable price. Just one thing to improve: They need to add a curtain on the top window coz ppl on the 2nd floor may see inside the room and give lower privacy. This is also too bright without curtain and wake me up in the morning.”

“Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im The Sun House. Das Personal ist liebenswürdig und herzlich. Das geschichtsträchtige Haus wurde aufwändig renoviert und hat ganz viel Flair. Die Räume sind liebevoll dekoriert und alles ist sehr stimmungsvoll. In dieser ruhigen Anlage kann man wunderbar ausspannen und ist in 10-15 min zu Fuß in der Altstadt. “Normally I’m not the person who writes reviews. But this hotel really deserves a good review. Its was great staying for me. Great interior design, cozy, clean. Its so close to Galle fort by tuktuk it takes only 230 rupees.

“The hotel is beautiful with amazing views and excellent staff. The hotel has a free shuttle service between 8.30 and 4.00 to Jungle Beach and the temple. It’s also just ten minutes by tuktuk to Galle which cost about £1.50 - £2.00. The pool is lovely and the roof top bar sells great cocktails. We ate dinner at the hotel which was delicious and reasonably priced. They were very accommodating of our dietary requirements (vegetarian and vegan.) We had the Sri Lanka breakfast - again prepared……
