"Yara Galle Fort is a lovely boutique hotel in a good position for walking around the town. The bed was comfortable and it was lovely to have a fridge and toiletries provided. The Sri Lankan breakfast was the best we have had here and the staff were very helpful. "

"Mango House is a great place to stay within the Fort at Galle. Property is at a premium in this area so the room was smaller and more expensive than others on our holiday in Sri Lanka. That said, it was still nice and the breakfast was a treat. Great location for exploring as you can walk anywhere you need to with the Fort."

"Fantastic hotel. Beautiful rooms, lovely property, friendly and effective staff. The location just outside Galle Fort is perfect, a short walk or even shorter tuk tuk ride up the hill and the peace and sanctuary of historic Sun House. Just wish we could have stayed longer."

"I rented an Airbnb in unawatuna which ended up turning in an awful experience. I had to find a new place last minute and I was really happy when I arrived to snooze. It’s clean, the boss is a respectful and kind person who is available to help guests when in need, the room was spacious with ac and hot water. Ended up paying half of what I paid for the Airbnb nightmare. I extended another night at snooze. I definitely recommend it specifically if you’re a woman traveling alone as I am. "
