"The house overall could use some updates and basic repairs, paint alone would go a long way. Due to the amount of guest it can accommodate and location its value for the money is reasonable. We did really enjoy the stock tank pool for our littles. "

"We had a wonderful stay! The house is close to the beach and the patio is perfect for early morning coffee while listening to the ocean waves. Very clean and well appointed! Everything we needed to make breakfast and grill out one evening. The beds are comfy and there are a variety of pillows and extra blankets. The yard was perfect for our mini Aussie, she loved it! The location is close to a convenience store if you need any last minute items. It’s only a short drive into town for all of the restaurants and local attractions! The host had great communication and was quick to answer any questions that we had. Check in was very easy. We appreciated not having a long list of check out procedures also! We had a great stay and would definitely stay again!"

"The property is exactly what is described on the listing. This house has everything you can think of to make your stay perfect. You don’t have to over pack because they have it all. Beach toys and chairs. Even a wagon and beach towels. The beds are very comfortable and the house is roomy. The front porch is very nice. No beach views but still very relaxing to sit and listen to the ocean and birds. Loved that the master bathroom had a walk in shower. It made it easy for my elderly mother to shower without worrying about falling when trying to get out. The only thing that was a little hard on us was the beach is a walk down the road. Not a very far walk but since my mom is elderly with a bad back it was too far for her. But we made it work we drove her down to the beach and then we walked and it was fine. Overall this house was a perfect getaway we needed! "

"We enjoyed our stay at Rene's home very much. The pool and hot tub were amazing! I was a bit disappointed with the Galveston beaches so I spent many days floating around the beautiful pool. The landscaping around the pool made me feel as though I was on a tropical island. The house was spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our week, We loved spending time on the back deck enjoying the view of the river/canal and all the beautiful birds. We ate breakfast there every morning. The sunsets in the evenings from the deck were beautiful. I would recommend this home without hesitation. Rene was a great host and very easy to get in touch with when we had questions. "

"The hosts are wonderful, kind, and responsive. They really put a lot of love into this property to make it a true home away from home. While the downtown area can be crowded, this is in a quiet neighborhood with a private beach feel. There are miles and miles of beautiful shoreline literally only a minute's walk away. At its busiest, we saw about 15 other people on the beach at any given time. But, if you want night life - a short 20-30 minute drive down the seawall will take you to all of the hot spots downtown.Unlike other properties we've stayed at, they provided hotel-style shampoo, conditioner, makeup wipes, soap, and more. Every amenity one could need is provided. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay will be comfortable. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed. "

"Our family had a wonderful stay at Sea Glory. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has plenty of items to cook with, plus utensils. Lots of outdoor furniture for lounging and enjoying your morning coffee. The couch is huge and so comfortable. It's a five minute walk to the beach, which is great with impatient kids. Anne is a wonderful host and was very responsive. We are looking forward to our next stay! "

"Our family had such a special stay in this home. It was perfect space for 6 adults, our grandbaby and grand-pup. We had enough space to spread out without feeling like we were on top of one another. We especially enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck! It was extremely clean with updated features throughout. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful get away with the beach near by!!"
