Fantastic location with amazing view

Overall really great condo. Could be cleaner, mattresses could certainly be better and condo could benefit from a little TLC. But offers amazing view, location is prime and host/manager is fantastic and very accommodating.

Incredible view

We enjoyed being able to look over the water. And watching the ships lining up at night to go to the Houston ship channel was fun. My mom has mobility issues and this was the perfect place to stay for her. Great location that made going to get food easy. The staff at by the Sea condominiums were absolutely wonderful. It was fun trying to remember how to use the old microwave, which worked great. It was a good trip.

Very nice stay

We had a great stay. The property is as described in the listing. It is comfortable for a large family or two small families with room to spread out. The kitchen is well appointed with multiple coffee machines including a Keurig. The views of the gulf and beach from the living area and two smaller bedrooms are great, and the large balcony makes the stay. The property and parking area are well maintained. The check-in and check-out process was seamless and the management is very communicative. Highly recommended.

Fabulous people!!!!

This was a girls/moms weekend with friends coming from across the country. Donna was beyond fabulous with not only communication but with service! We had a couple hic ups, (doesn’t all travel?) the communication was amazing and allowed us to spend our trip without any problems. This location is right on the beach, had room for everyone and was super clean. 100% recommend!!!!!

Bucket List Finally Got Shorter!

The place was great, the views were wonderful, the owners were very nice and helpful. The only things we did not like was that there were mirrors and glass topped furniture everywhere, haha; and that when we arrived everything was unplugged and all the light bulbs were unscrewed….we were all just super annoyed after the 12hour drive to come in and have to find all the outlets and figure out the bulbs and all of that. Otherwise the property is great

The unit was very nice. Good location. View was great.

The ac filter was dirty sending black dirt on ceiling s. Towel racks fell off the wall. Upholstered furniture was dirty needs to be recovered. A blackout curtain needs to be installed in master bedroom. Just suggestions. Art work was great, kitchen was beautifully set up with all necessities. Just needed a little tweaking.

Needs updating. Woodwork, floors, ceiling, kitchen granite. Furniture is worn and dirty along with lamp shades. Shower curtain hooks are rusty. Soft soap dispenser was almost empty. Sliding door does not lock. Also, had problems with front door latch that twists 360 degrees and won’t lock, Mirror cracked in king bedroom. Electrical outlets need adjusting. Closet door in back bedroom won’t close. No washer and dryer. Beds were very comfortable along with fans on. Great view.

Clean but very dated

If you’re looking for clean beds, bathrooms, and towels and do not care about leaving your clothes in suitcase because all the dressers smell moldy or, rusted appliances (microwave), non functioning stovetop and broken carafe Mr. coffee pot, uncomfortable living room and deck furniture this is your place. Location is good for beach and restaurants, and Walmart. The cookware was minimal so cooking for 5 people was a little rough especially with two burners working. Downstairs staff is very accommodating and friendly. We had a closet door that would not open and even though it wasn’t their place, they came up and assisted us since most were seniors. I think $36 is a little steep for parking since it’s outside and not really monitored. If I ever returned to Galveston, which I doubt, and stayed longer than one night, I wouldn’t recommend without a total renovation.
