Quiet days in Galveston

This property is pretty much exactly as described. Very quiet neighborhood, basic house setup, pool!, and not a long walk to the beach. We would stay again next time we come to Galveston.

Family Christmas Weekend

We had a wonderful stay at Anchor Away, StayBeachBox. The house was well equipped The communication was excellent. We have stayed at other Stay Beach Homes and they are always clean and well stocked. We dont have any complaints, because Stay Beach rentals are always well kept. We came to have a great time of celebrating Christmas together and we did. Thank you for being a part of making our weekend a great one.

Nice property and great communication!

Very nice property located just a bit further South on Galveston Island. Not too far from beach access points and away from the busy areas. The property had everything we needed and was clean with everything working as expected. Extra bonus is it had a ramp rather than stairs that made it easier getting our stuff up to the property. The communication was fantastic and made us feel very welcome. All details were provided and even put together an online packet of information that was very helpful. We enjoyed our quick getaway stay and will seek out this owner for more rentals!

14 in on house...Crazy

We like to have our semi-annual Thanksgiving trips and it is often difficult to find a place that will accommodate 6 adults and 8 children plus 2 pets. This house didn't just a accommodate us but we had a great time. We hit a snafu on the first day with the refigerator/freezer that quit working but the maintenance people were out of sight and installed a new one that very day in a short amount of time. We could have lost all our food but we didn't lose any of it. From the management to the staff, these people are great.

Good location but not clean

Septic smell on the property physically see sewage/grey water bubbling on the ground.Shower handle is not attached.Top step on the pool ladder is broken.Coffee pot looks as though it’s never been cleaned. Moldy and could not use. Floors dirty left feet and socks dirty. Vacuum was full not cleaned out.Half a bag of fruity cereal in a kitchen drawer. Decorative wall clocks don’t work, one with no hands. No pantry space - only shelving area adjacent to kitchen is inside a bathroom. No bathtub only stand up showers. No dishwasher.No space to hang clothes. I informed the property manager of all issues. Good location close to the beach. Pool was clean. Plenty of dishes and silverware for a large family. Loved the porch swings. Wheelchair accessible. Didn’t use the fire pit.

This is by far the best place we have ever stayed at. The only issue was that 2 of the rooms were pretty hot maybe issue with the ventilation in there? Other than that the house was super clean and provided everything we needed for our stay.The pool was the best part!!!

The house was great, exactly as pictured. The property manager was also great. The neighbors on the other hand....were rude and obnoxious very invasive and annoying. They came over multiple times uninvited, it was weird.
