Just what I needed

We enjoyed the roominess. Not to small. It worked well for us, the game room downstairs had just enough beds for our 5 young adults to stay. They were playing games later than the rest of us would like. The kitchen has everything we needed. The only thing I would suggest is better mattresses for the bunk beds. Over all it was a great stay.

This house need a deep cleaning We had to wash the sheets on the first night since they were dirty.I rate this hoise at 5 in a scale 1-10The upper deck had broken wood when my nephrw step on it his leg went all the way throughout, not a good experience at all.

Pros:-The location of the house is great. It’s right by the marina with a restaurant and bar nearby. Also Sea Isle beach access is right across the main road and Jamaica Beach is a quick 10 minute drive down the main road. -The house had plenty of space to sleep our group of 11-The downstairs game room area was a great place to hang out away from the kids sleeping upstairs. The video games in the room were a lot funCons:-The kitchen table was horribly uncomfortable because the stools are too tall for the table, you can’t fit your legs underneath.-The house felt run down. It could be made a lot better if some relatively simple improvements / updates were made.-There was a large hole in the deck, covered by a broken paver. This wasn’t mentioned to us beforehand and we had multiple young kids at the house which felt unsafe. -The kitchen items were lacking & not in the best condition. The oven seems to be on its last leg.. things had to cook twice as long and at a higher temperature. -the bunk bed mattresses were so thin you could feel the metal bars underneath when you laid down.-The house didn’t feel clean. There was a thick layer of dust on top of the fridge (where we were storing some food items) & on the bathroom walls. -Our feet were black after walking around the house on the first night.-The outdoor trash cans were overflowing to the point that we couldn’t add any of our trash. They were never emptied over the weekend despite multiple messages to the host.

disappointed

within 2 hrs of arriving the down stairs game room /bedroom bathroom flooded and backed up tub messaged we had to make room up stairs to sleep due to it would be the next day to get plumber so he came mid morning at said he fixed it and sending housekeeping to clean downstairs bathroom and we left to beach came back showering it started flooding again so reached out another plumber came later that day worked till 10 pm give or take but though my whole stay we had to take blankets upstairs to pile up due to no restroom to use and the smell , went to cook most dishes was put up dirty and microwave was nasty no laundry pods or soap then went got some only not to be able to wash due to plumbing even needs pest control i sent photos with messages so host is and was aware and it also appeared as black mold on down stairs bathroom cling
