"Fore Sail" offers the perfect location, Front Row Ocean Front and next to the Beach Club. Breathtaking views from the shaded, private balcony. This 3 bedroom/2 bath condo has granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, walk-in shower and more!

This condo offers a king bed in the master bedroom, 2nd bedroom has two sets of bunk beds (one is a twin over full and the other is a twin over twin) and 3rd bedroom features a queen bed. This condo is ideal for couples or two small families vacationing together. Sleeps 9 comfortably. 2 High Def LED TV's, WIFI, living room nicely decorated, Fully equipped kitchen, Everything you need for a great vacation!
A storage locker is provided with this unit.

Pointe West is a privately owned resort community on the western tip of Galveston Island, located approximately 30 minutes from The Strand & other great Galveston attractions. You will have exclusive access to our beach that is clean & groomed regularly offering you a perfect spot to relax & unwind, away from the crowds.

The Pointe West Beach Club is a privately owned facility and offers resort style amenities for guests who choose to purchase access. Use of these amenities is optional.
Resort Fee: $25 per person (ages 4+), per stay. *Beach club policy only allows 3 amenity bands per bedroom. It includes use of:
• Beach Club pool and seasonally heated Bayside pool with lazy river
• Hot tubs
• Basketball & Pickleball court and a modest game/exercise room
• Seasonal family activities are offered throughout the year.
• The Pointe Restaurant opens seasonally for lunch and dinner.

The Beach Club will email an invoice directly to you. After payment, wristbands may be picked upon arrival at the Beach Club Office, open daily from 9 AM–5 PM.
Please note: The resort fee is nonrefundable, so we recommend waiting until closer to your arrival before purchasing.

Important: We manage the rental home only. We do not oversee the Beach Club, its amenities, the restaurant, pools, beach access, or elevators. Refunds and/or cancellations are not given for any closures they may experience.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
•     Check in: 4 PM
•     Check out: 10 AM
•     Guests may enjoy the beach and Beach Club amenities before check in and after check with wristband purchase.
•     All condos are accessible by stairs or elevator. If elevators are out of service, stair access will be required.
No refunds or alternative accommodations are provided for elevator outages.
•     Minimum age requirement: 26+
•     No prom, graduation, or high school groups, even with chaperones.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
*31 or More Days Prior To Your Date of Arrival: A full refund will be issued less a $100.00 administrative fee and the Travel Insurance premium, if purchased.
*Cancellations 30 Days or less: No refunds or transfer of dates.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Is OFFERED for purchase when you secure your vacation reservation. Travel Insurance is coverage that can help protect you from losses from unexpected events that may occur. The hurricane season starts June 1 and ends November 30. Please review our cancellation as well as Storm and Cancellation Policies carefully! These are located in the rental agreement.

The view from the balcony was spectacular! The condo was clean, and a great size with plenty of room for my family of 6 and our pup. The kitchen, laundry and restrooms, were well stocked and easy to use. There are some cosmetics that could be updated, but it bared no hinderance on our trip. The host was very attentive, responsive and kind. There was a small issue with one of the beds, and they had someone there for repair within 15 minutes. The office was very easy to work with as well. I don't think the 25 additional fee to use the amenities was worth it for our family, as the pools are unusable in the winter. One of the pools is heated... but it was still very uncomfortable so we gave up on that and spent a day at the Great Wolf Lodge in Houston. The game room was nice, but very minimal. We didn't use the gym at all. Our only other complaint was that it is a good 20 minute drive to town, but that also meant that it felt quiet, relaxing and safe. Overall we found it to be agreat place, and we hope to return in the future!

I’ve rented this property many times and I don’t know what’s going on, but even though I write things up and let them know about it they never fix for example windows that can’t be locked. We showed up in the house had not been completely cleaned and beds made items were broken in the refrigerator like shelves The smell of mold even a black spot in the roof. It’s really horrible because it’s such a nice place to stay.

Over the last 20 years my family has stayed at Pointe West numerous times and it never disappoints. However, this time we rented Fore Sail and all I can say is location, location, location!!! It was amazing. Parking spot is 50 ft from eleavator, elevator is 25 ft from room door. Made loading and unloading a breeze. Condo is right next to beach club. You are steps away. The condo is clean and well stocked. Located in between 2 individual beach access walk ways!! We will definitely rent this one again in the future!! 5 stars!!

Another Great Stay!

This was the third time we have stayed at Fore Sail. It's an excellent located condo for access to the Beach Club and direct access to the beach by two boardwalks. Since our stay last fall, the owners have "freshened" up the property by new paint and the AC system addressed. Very nicely done. Only minor issues need to be addressed. The AC blower fan makes quite a bit of noise, the fan in the bedroom at the end of the hall makes quite a bit of noise making it difficult to sleep, and the washer emits an electrical burn odor when operating that should be investigated. These are minor issues and some minor issues can be expected in a property that sees a lot of traffic. A deal killer? ABSOLUTELY NOT! We have every intention of booking this property again on our next visit to Pointe West Beach Club and Resort. Our fourth stay when we do go back. We thoroughly enjoy Pointe West. BTW: the sunrises are just wonderful. Never gets old. And we practically owned the beach this time of year. Pointe West keeps the common areas property well maintained. As one can imagine, property on the coast takes constant attention and Pointe West does that. Thank you very much! We look so forward to our next visit.

Great Location & View

We've chosen this location twice due to its location to the Beach Club & direct shot to the beach. Property is well maintained for beach front exposures. Sunrise is spectacular. Condo is showing signs of wear and tear and could use some "freshening up." For some reason the A/C is not taking the bulk of the moisture out of the air. A dehumidifier was available and used, but it had to be emptied at least three times a day. This was not needed the first time we stayed at the property in 2022. Both our stays were in late September/early October. Would we stay at the condo again? Yes. Just needs "freshening up."

Great time with the kids

A major storm was going to hit on our first day. Property management allowed us to shift our reservation by a day which helped tremendously. Our boys had plenty to do between the pools and the beach. Great time!

Great Condo at a Great Place

My family has been going to Pointe West for several years now and overall been very pleased with the property. So many family memories. If you're not familiar with Pointe West, the beach is really clean and we're comfortable going into the water up to about our waist. We aren't big fans of going much deeper in open bodies of water! We really like that we can go to the beach and the pool at Pointe West. The condo itself was great and the unit was really updated and clean. The condo is as close to the Beach Club as you can get. We actually like this since we could hear the live music from our condo (we have young kids) and my parents have difficultly walking long distances so the proximity to the beach club and the boardwalk was exactly what we were looking for. The property manager was great too. There happened to be a water main break while we stayed there (the City of Galveston's fault!) but the property manager kept us up to date regularly. Additionally, they shared some travel tips like when the live music was playing and times for some kids crafts. For us we will stay at this unit again for sure.

Had such a good time at Pointe West. Our condo was so nice, clean and spacious. Had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Wonderful views! The pool at the beach resort was amazing. Beautiful views!

If you like to watch the sun rise, don’t miss this condo! Amazing location, and really well maintained property with a well appointed kitchen. We needed a relaxing weekend getaway, and Fore Sail was the perfect answer.

Nice place.

We had a nice time. If you’re traveling with someone that has a hard time walking long distances and wants to go to the beach, you may want to choose someplace else. The condo has an amazing view but it’s a longer walk to the beach than anticipated. Beds were comfortable and plenty of space for 6 (3 adults and 3 kids). Mosquitos were terrible so bring bug spray.

Excellent Location!

Stayed at this property for three nights. Excellent location to the beach and pool/club area. Out the door and a short walk to the pool/club area. Very close to two boardwalks to the beach. Only two drawbacks; elevator is slow and the restaurant wasn't open during the week. It's off season and that's completely understandable. We brought our own food anyway. We had the pool and the beach practically to ourselves. Great time of the year to come. No crowds. Finally verdict: We'd definitely stay at this property again. You CANNOT beat the beautiful sunrise over the Gulf from this property. Never gets old. Property owner was very quick to respond to two questions I had prior to arriving. All good!

Nice location but not clean

We enjoyed the patio view, distance to the beach and layout of the condo. However, it was not clean. Our feet were black after walking on it barefoot only a couple hours. There were stains on the bedsheets and towels and the place smelled musty and grimey. Swifter, Clorox wipes, Lysol and febreeze made all the difference. The dryer broke and within an hour they had responded, got someone to come out the next day and a new one by 24 hrs. Appreciated their quick response and resolution.
