Beach bound

Place was so private. There is no other beach cabin like it. Trees surround the cabin on 3 sides. Great get away place for two.

Great getaway, great house

Probably one of the best houses we’ve stayed in!! The layout of the house was perfect. It was spacious and roomy. The outside areas were great too! Nice neighborhood to walk our dog. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

Disappointed

My family, as well as extended family and I recently stayed at the Indigo Blues property in Galveston, Texas, from July 19,2024 to July 23, 2024 Unfortunately, we encountered several cleanliness issues during our stay that significantly impacted our experience. Upon our arrival, we noticed cobwebs, dirt and dust on the barbecue, tables, and chairs. The outdoor furniture was scattered and covered in dust and cobwebs. Nothing was guest ready, or as displayed in the photos, at least in the downstairs outdoor area. we had to spend our time cleaning this area to use, Which might I say when you're not from Texas can be a lot of work in that environment. I ruined a set of clothes, trying to pull out a nasty dirty hose to spray everything off and then because everything was wet got significantly bit by mosquitoes. Inside the house, we found dead cockroaches and a dead bird on the bedroom balcony railing, which had clearly been there for several days, as evidenced by the presence of flies and ants. Additionally, we found a live cockroach in the kitchen area, which crawled out from under the trim; I have a video documenting this incident, and photos of everything else. There was also dried up bird poop on the chairs right by the front door. You can imagine how this made us feel when we arrived and every night as we went to sleep, We tried reaching out to the host about these issues , with no response!!! Unfortunately, I can’t make my review longer. Otherwise I would.!!
